(Today I finished LOK. And then I spend the next two hours looking at fan’s reaction videos on youtube while laughing and crying) I’m so happy to see fans reacting to the endings with such joy and amazement. I’m also sorry to see just how shocked we are. We are so used to be disappointed by what we see that we have grew to accept that changes are impossible (SeanImenet’s reaction is what Im referring to )even thou we desperately hope for them. I think Bryke also posted how they thought it was impossible at first to show Korrasami at first but later decided to do it anyway. It’s really fking beautiful because this is exactly what empowerment is. People, don’t be afraid to “do the thing !” Start creating and don’t ever think something is impossible or you’re not good enough ! I’m so happy because I’m witnessing history taking place here in 2014. I can imagine when the people in the future watch this they will not realize why this is a big deal unless they research the context, because their world will be less surrounded by discrimination and hate, and that’s a good thing. The drawing show Korra and Asami happy in their safe space.
