it frustrates me to no end that people keep blaming jax as the SOLE person responsible for ribbit's abstraction.
especially as someone with extremely similar trauma to jax, he clearly needed space. from my perspective, ribbit overstepped, and then took it personally when his defenses went up- even after jax just explained how he was abused after opening up.
i think what we SHOULD be blaming jax for is bullying the shit out of gangle, which the series just kinda swept under the rug for some reason.
i'm already doing bad and i just keep finding more shit that pisses me off.
