Basically I’m pulling him from the end of The Rise of Skywalker. 

present life: Ben sacrificed himself for Rey so he remembers closing his eyes and seeing a bright light. He woke up not knowing where he was but he was surprised that he was alive. He doesn’t expect to see anyone from back home but he’s always on the look out. He wants to take advantage of what he considers a second chance.

    witches . it had to be the witches . niklaus could find no other explanation as to why he was experiencing scattered memories along with untimely hallucinations . this world was but a semblance of what was and truth be told , he was aching to go back home — to be given answers as to what all of this meant for the fate of his family . it seemed as if his supernatural abilities as the original hybrid had remained intact . however , despite his superhuman speed , he could no longer outrun the looming figures of darkness that pursued him . he could hear voices , almost as if they were taunting him . he had always been a mad man but to feel so powerless was driving him over the edge . niklaus had disappeared with the wind , steps slowing only when he reached the side of what seemed to be an empty building . this land was dry , almost humid and as his senses were heightened , so were his emotions . in a violent rage , he picked up on the first sign of life trailing him , mistaking them for the reason for these demons that chased him . “ you have two seconds to convince me not to end you right here , right now . “ he warned , taking the initiative to advance towards them .

                   SHE’D GRAVITED TOWARDS THE most isolated corner she could find, a note pad full of doodles tucked safely underneath one of her arms and an obnoxiously large ‘ alcoholic ‘ drink in the other —  one that she probably shouldn’t be having, given just how much comfort she’d come to find in said substance, but that was a rabbit hole she didn’t want to chase, not at the moment anyway. so instead she focused on the sketch in front of her, color pencils at her side, she reached for the purple one, as she admired her work. “ hmm.. “ her voice trailed as she reached for her glass of gin, a mental conversation with herself wasn’t out of the ordinary, and she would have probably began talking out loud had she not felt the persistent stare of someone’s eyes. 

pushing her dark and clearly oversized glasses upwards, the young woman huffed. “ you know that phone we got does come with a CAMERA... “ her voice trailed for a moment, but her sarcastic flourish wasn’t going to end there. “ if my BEAUTY really is so distracting that you have to stare like a PERV… take a picture. “ she finished with a tilt of her chin. “ i’m feeling charitable i won’t charge. “ she added with a roll of her eyes, before she looked down at the pro type sketch of her suit, she’d been working on. “ but as long as you’re here… what do you think of this? does purple match my complexion? or is it too much of a fall color, for my fair SPRING complexion? “

blurred vision soon began to stabilize as steve raised a palm to the sky, shielding his squinting gaze. he blinked away the dust that irritated his already reddened eyes, but his breathing, it was labored. an afterthought to the one that came when he noticed the white suit he’d worn the moment he was stuck in time wasn’t there, not anymore. instead the familiar dark blue of the stars and stripes uniform that felt like a second skin took it’s place. 

“  where …  ” steve choked up the word only to whip his head in the direction of chatter, of PEOPLE.  heart beating fast the super soldier took off on dusted ground. his pace never dared to slow until he had collided with someone. another body that crashed with a thud as he tumbled to the ground. ‘ i’m sorry ’ he meant to utter, but as he got to his feet and went to help the individual, “  is this earth ?  ” took the place of formalities.
