Alex: Barry. Reading something is NOT a strenuous activity. You just sit in some corner and read something from the Britannia Herald.

Der Preußischer Stechschritt.

Just a drawing of a platoon of Prussian Soldiers marching to battle, nothing suspicious here... but the faces on some of the troops say otherwise.

The Goose-Step (German: Stechschritt) is a type of lockstep march used by the Germans in the 18th Century until the late-20th Century, starting from the Kingdom of Prussia and lastly used by the German Democratic Republic. At rare occasions, the Bundeswehr (The current form of the German Army) uses the Goose-step in some of their live drills, most notably in 2017 where it was executed by a live band complete with a platoon in a public event at Düsseldorf.

There are only a few countries that still use the goose-step, most notably Chile, which still holds Prussian traditions in many of their military parades. North Korea also uses a modified form of the goose-step which includes a slight bounce when soldiers march, and the extension of the leg is higher and less-relaxed compared to the traditional version where the steps are more relaxed.

​Things to take note of:

- The image here is the main inspiration for this artwork. The image itself has Reichswehr soldiers marching past with their rifles slung on the troops' shoulders. Behind them, the military band makes their exit.

- There are flowers placed on some places on the soldiers' uniforms. This is customary to many German women in which they offer the soldiers flowers before going into battle or when leaving to fulfill their duty.

- Originally, a lamp post was going to be present in the background, but was removed entirely. I'd also like to think this drawing takes place in Leipzig.

- The 1. Garde-Regiment zu Fuß officer is the one who died in Kaub.

- Streamers were originally going to appear in the drawing, but I got too lazy to draw all of them individually. I was also thinking of drawing a Schnauzer walking with the soldiers on the bottom right, but I've decided against it.

- The signage on the top left reads Der Tropfende Kessel. Translated from German reads The Leaky Cauldron. This is a reference to the famous wizarding pub that is featured in the Harry Potter books.

“Being an Officer’s hard work, Alex. It’s like watching your OWN children. It’s like I’m being a father of a dozen kids.” Barry said, comparing taking care of his troops to a parent looking after his children. I mean, the similarities are there, and both people need to be responsible in taking care and disciplining them. It truly is a grueling task, but a responsibility to hold.

“At least I have seven men, Barry.” I said. “It’s a bit easy for me since it’s just a group of seven, even one of them’s a Lance Corporal.”

“Lucky guy, you are.” Barry smirked. “Had you become an Ensign in my company, We would have behaved like parents. I’m the dad, and you being the mother. It’s like this Company is one giant family. I just need help from everybody in it. I am not strong enough.”

“Always think about me, then James, Michael, and even your family too. They inspired you.” I said. “Don’t forget Captain Pilkington, He remarked that you have potential to be a high-ranking officer, and he’s proud of you.”

“Even you too, Alex. He promoted you to Sergeant after your performance in Boot Camp. Don’t forget about that.” Reminded Barry. “Anyway, Let’s have sandwiches, I’m already craving for one.”

Alex has a bandage on his right thigh after he was stabbed by a French ranker. That ranker was a teenager who was too afraid to kill someone.

Barry has a bandage on his right eye after being hit with debris after an explosion (not San Sebastián, but Almeida in 1811).

Both are covered with gunpowder since they've been into battle, but their faces were cleaned since they're gonna eat sandwiches. Who the hell would eat gunpowder-flavored sandwiches?

I drew 7 pieces of fanarts during this long weekend (3 days), I'm so tired and my handwriting ended up looking pretty rough sorry about that.

This is part of Bloodborne AU I've been working on. Since Bloodborne while has a background setting in 1860-1870 but doesn't touch Napoleonic era at all, I'm going to explore that blank myself.

Basically, a story set in early 19th-century Europe as a prelude of Bloodborne outside of Yharnam, where different nations are all trying to gain advantages in the war by researching the power left by the Great Ones, leading to some rather questionable outcomes.

Still a lot I want to draw for this AU but I'm running out of time.

THE FAMILY THAT STAYS TOGETHER, SLAYS DEMONS TOGETHER

Roscoff, July 1815.

Polish Lancer Jan Kubica wanders off to fight and hold against the Cannibals in the outskirts of the city. He disappeared after a few days and the city was breached. His Wife and son survive and is under the protection of the French inside the Horse Stables near the Cemetery. Before Kubica disappeared, he entrusted Michel Beltoise, a French Officer of Napoleon's Old Guard, to look after his family if he dies or disappears. Beltoise now becomes committed into looking after them.

Mademoiseille Maria Kubica was given a Sabre by Michel. Surprisingly, she is very skilled in Fencing. In the end, She and her son, Andrzej, escaped Roscoff with William H. Crawford on the USS Constitution, and their fate remains Ambiguous.
