Announcement
hi all. it's recently come to our attention that one of our contributors has been posting work containing incest. we know this makes many of our contributors and audience uncomfortable, especially since many of them are minors.
we did our best to research and make sure our contributors would not make others uncomfortable before letting them in. however, this is clearly a mistake on our part, and indicates we didn't research as deeply as we should have. for that, we can only apologize.
we also apologize for not replying as quickly to the accusations as many of you would have liked. unfortunately, our mods are not only busy, but also uk-based, which meant many messages arrived in the middle of the night when we were unable to reply. however, i know how much a slow reply on this specific topic worried people, so we apologize for that too.
we will not be including the user in the zine, and will be removing them from the discord server. if anyone has been affected by the presence of this user, we send our strongest support.
we hope you'll continue to support the zine. while we hope an incident like this doesn't happen again, we strongly encourage the community to come forward just as they have today. while we do our best, we know that we make mistakes, and it's through the help of others that we can correct them.

legacy of hope is an indigenous-led foundation providing education, awareness, healing, and reconciliation, for and about indigenous people, especially survivors of the residential school system and their descendants.
