I feel like I’ve been living my life repeatedly.
The days of not knowing who I was.
The days where I felt young regardless of my age.
The days where I disguised myself for such a long time.
And I met someone, who made me truly who I am.
I remember everything about that moment.
Place, time, scent, feeling, clothes and even food we had.
It was an unrequited love but still we kept a strange relationship of more than friends.
A long time passed with us being around each other and all of a sudden our hearts were connected. I call it first love.
We had loved each other for a long time. It was kind of like a puzzle or building blocks.
But I was so happy. Even happy in the hard times.
I knew everything was going to end eventually.
And that time finally came for us.
I left Japan
and here I am in NYC.
It’s been a year since I came here.
It was so hard to keep myself up without you.
But now I’m living a new life.
With days that turned me into a grown man.
And I met someone, who shows me what true love is. And how beautiful love is.
I love my life and I know my life can be nothing without love.
I really appreciate everything that has happened to me.
Every morning I wake up and I find my life beautiful.
I’m surrounded by so many beautiful people.
At last, I really want to say thank you to my family.
Without them, I would not be here.
My new music is going to be a diary about my journey.
The deep side of my emotions will be there.

僕は人生を何度か生きているようだ。
自分が誰なのかわからなかった頃
年齢に関係なく幼かったあの頃
ずいぶん長い間、自分ではない誰かに変装して生きていた頃
そこで、僕は一人の人と出会った。本当の僕に気づかせてくれた人に。
あの瞬間のことを全て覚えている。
場所、時間、匂い、感情、服、食べたものまで。
思いは一方通行のまま、それでも僕らは友達以上の何か奇妙な関係を続けていた。長い間近づいたり離れたりしながらも、僕らの思いは繋がった。これを初恋と呼ぶんだろう。崩れては組み立てての繰り返し。まるでパズルや積み木のようだったけど、本当に幸せだったと思う。
どんなものにも終わりが来る。
そして僕らにもその時が来た。
もう一年になる。
君なしで自分を保つのはとても辛かった。
それでも僕は今新しい人生を歩んでいる。
僕を成長させてくれる日々とともに。
そして、僕は一人の人と出会った。本当の愛とは何かを教えてくれる人に。
愛がどれほど美しいものなのかを。
自分の人生を愛しているし、愛なしでは僕の人生はあり得ない。
僕に起こった全ての事に感謝している。
毎朝、目を覚ます度に自分の人生がいかに素晴らしいものであるかを再確認する。本当にたくさんの素晴らしい人たちに囲まれて生きている。
そして最後に家族へ最大限の感謝を示したい。
家族なしでは、ここにはいない。
僕の新しい音楽たちは、僕の旅について書き綴った一つの手記のようなものになるだろう。そこに僕の奥深くにある感情を垣間見ることができると思う。
