Some items I found last weekend ✨💕. All of them almost new. Crazy to think people buy these, use a couple of times (if any) and then they just throw in a bag and into the garbage 😩

DD today and found cleaning supplies to last me until the end of the year!
I have read a couple of books that have inspired me on my no buy, minimal waste journey. ‘The Story if Stuff’ and ‘minimalism’ have been truly inspiring. As a totally consumer driven person, reading these books have shifted my understanding of what it means to live with what you have, the waste that is created from buying stuff i don’t use, the consequences of buying cheap stuff that will land on the land field. I can’t believe it took so long for me to open my eyes to these problems. We have been brainwashed since childhood by the media, the market, and large corporations through advertisements. Never before did i have one single thought about this... crazy right? This may sound completely stupid to people who are already woke ... i can’t believe it took so long, and that it took isolation, quarantine, and a pandemic for me to open my eyes to these issues...
Making myself accountable. This blog is a personal blog to help me keep track of my own progress and if any of this information helps anyone else then it’s a bonus! I, by no means, intend to give any type of advise. This is a personal blog, for my own accountability. 🖤
I’ve started my minimal waste, zero buy, debt free journey. 2020 was a crazy year that allowed me to pause and think and breathe. It made me realize that living in debt, buying stuff that i don’t even use, and wasting valuable resources are behaviors i had as part of my normal day life. It’s weird to say but COVID lockdowns made me slow down to smell the roses. Made me more aware about my life and what it means to live happy. It is completely INSANE to think that it took a f*cking worldwide pandemic for me to wake up, open my eyes to the world around me. I was (and still am) so consumed by work and debt and STUFF around me that it took a major life world wide event for me to AWAKEN! 🖤
