Forget everything I said earlier, I’ll definitely be going to see The Flash in theaters. I didn’t realize Christina Hodson was writing it. I’d go to the movies with Ezra Miller if it meant Christina got to write more DC movies.

Unbelievably cruel to give us Zontent (Zod Content) but in order to enjoy it I'll have to watch a movie with, at minimum, two Ezras Miller in the spotlight

Don't get me wrong, I've knowingly seen and enjoyed movies starring worse jackasses than them. I've knowingly seen and enjoyed movies starring THIS jackass. I'm not taking a moral high ground about seeing or not seeing this movie— I may get a ticket, or I may wait until it's uploaded for "home streaming" and watch it that way— and, in fact, think it's genuinely silly to do so and that the people who act like they're Taking A Stand by either boycotting or buying a ticket need to get a grip and realize that there is very little in this world that matters less than which superhero movies make how much money at the box office

The thing that actually DOES matter to me, where superhero movies are concerned, is whether or not I am personally even slightly annoyed, and on THAT metric, Two Ezras Miller is a cruel and unusual thing to put in the way of me seeing my funny evil blorbo played by a vastly overqualified actor

That being said? I did used to take a strong moral high ground about Zod as a character and how he's Evil and it's Wrong To Stan and I was being very silly then. Everything I said was technically correct but I've had more fun being the only person online brave enough to Babygirlify Detective Comics Comics' Villain General Zod Content than I ever had being self-righteous about the morality of a superman villain

I guess I should expect this kind of blatant erasure from DC since their last six movies have been completely zodless and they cancelled the only TV show with zod in it, but it still stings, you know?
