The third cervical vertebra is the first non-named vertebra on my list, going down the spine. Trying to decide how much to rely on the symmetry tool while I'm working on these.
The atlas and axis fit together like puzzle pieces, with the dens of the axis fitting right into that little slot at the bottom of the atlas above it. Just wanted to show how they fit together, I feel like it looks pretty cool :)
The second bone in my bone project, working my way down the spine: the axis! While the atlas doesn't move much, the axis twists and turns and directs the spine. Both the atlas and axis have pretty apt names!
starting a daily art project!! going to draw a bone a day so here's the first bone of the spine, the atlas!! it's got a funny shape to hold up ur head (like its namesake, who holds up the globe in greek mythology)

starting a new dnd campaign with my brother!!! this is rhyn, she's a half-elf monk and also shasa's girlfriend :) she's a sneaky type monk, and since she's blind she's able to rely on her hearing and other senses for her antics. She comes from a background of crime and thievery, she stole because she was good at it and it was a bit fun and didn't really care about the money. Although, she did like stealing jewelry, as seen with her piercings.
Her outfit is heavily based on traditional male and female Ukrainian outfits and the tattoos are based on Amazigh women's tattoos. The large tattoo between her eyebrows is to ward away the evil eye, bad spirits etc. i was also thinking a little bit about jedi outfits in SWTOR hah, started playing that recently. My great grandpa emigrated from Ukraine just before the great depression, and I've wanted to learn about Ukrainian culture and outfits for a long time since my family didn't talk about it much.

i've had this idea in my head for a while, a EDS-themed sticker that has words integrated into the stripes of the zebra. I'm hoping to get this printed in a bunch of varieties, like holographic and glow-in-the-dark!
portrait study i FINALLY finished the other day
