Traveller Icons_stained plastic relics (ongoing production)
Current day traffic asks for current day patron saints. This edition of (eventually) seven stained glass portraits of saints are dedicated to protect and caution reckless cyclists. Carry them around for on-the-go prayers or install them in the window as a miniature shrine. These pocket-size triptychs fold out to stand by themselves. Ironically, the re-purposed reflectors and rubbers they are made of are sourced where accidents have happened, like these bicycle-parts are sacrificed for them.
Available so far: St. Otto, patron of zebra crossings. "Zebra Transitus Est Noc Hic Protegit" St. Klaus, patron of shark teeth. "Cetus Dentibus Et Salvabit Nos" St. Bernard, patron of stop signs. "Honoramus Signum Stop" St. Erik-Egbert-Eduard (specifically the lowest head), patron of traffic lights. "Viridi Lux Numquam Subsisto" Coming up: St. Agatha, patron of speed limits. "Ret Placet"
Size: around 11,5x8,5x1,5cm. Material: plastic, rubber, brass. Price: €75,- per Saint. excl. VAT/transport.
New series of protective saint for careless cyclists. Travel size and made from cycle-accident-leftovers. Up for exhibition in Nuchelen (Be).

Alex, why is it so quiet? Cause we're doing so much. But here's another sneek preview at my kerstpronkstukken with Franck: a life-size christmas poodle.
The first "post-apocalyptic x-mas pieces" are ready and for sale at De Andere Markt tomorrow.
