Like a moth drawn to a flame, his nose quickly pick up the scent of blood. seojun stopped in his tracks, his nose sniffing the cold air as he tries to navigate his way to where the smell of blood coming from. His feet quickly moved towards where the scent came from, gulping down the uneasiness that’s starting to bubble up in his stomach. How long has it been since his last feed? He remembers it’s not that long ago, maybe it wasn’t enough the last time that’s why he’s easily swayed by the faintest smell of blood.
Taking a shortcut through the back alley, accidentally kicking the nearby trash can while he was at it, the scent of blood got too strong that he has to cover his nose. No, this isn’t how he wants to feed, it is true that vampires are predatory species, seojun couldn’t bring himself to be that. He doesn’t find the idea of sucking someone dry and watching the life fades from their eyes appealing at all.
His fangs itches, wanting something to bite into and now that he has a sight on his prey, the growing urge is getting unbearable. Though everything comes to a halt when he took a sight at the prey…woman. No wonder he could smell blood from miles away, she was drenched from top to toe in it. “ wha–? ” he gasped, somehow the worry written all over his face at the sight of the stranger, “ are you alright?! ” he gulped down, unsure if he should take a step closer to her since he’s already having trouble trying to control his thirst.

no one could imagine a lust demon sitting down and doing craft to blow off some steam. working for the gang, being a hitman, was her way of filling in the excessive amount of time that came with being a demon trapped in a mortal vessel. sure, a lot of the time she was feeding off lust. but what else was there to do? succumb to technology? no way. so aejeong killed. and she did it well. she was so unbothered by the act in fact, that she often roamed the street covered in blood and bruises after she finished her work, not realizing how jarring it could be to a simple civilian to see such a small and innocent looking girl look like she just climbed out of the pits of hell. or perhaps that was another thing the demon enjoyed.
the sudden commotion of a garbage can being kicked over caused aejeong to tense, hand reaching immediately for one of the daggers strapped securely to her thigh. she didn’t unsheathe it, instead needed to be reminded that it was there. there was no good in scaring someone for no reason, that much she had learned. when the stranger came to light, her hand dropped to her side. he looked innocent, in fact he looked shocked. aejeong was obviously confused at first before she glanced down at her body.
“oh this?” she asked lightly, looking back up at the other with a simple shrug. “i’m fine. it isn’t mine.” perhaps that wasn’t the best way to go about things, but what could she say? she was shameless. however her head tilted slightly to the side as she examined his expression - he was worried and startled, that was for certain. but there was something else hidden amongst the obvious. aejeong was never good at reading between the lines, instead opted to ask bluntly until she got the answer she wanted.
“you look worse than i do. what’s up with that?” she inquired, walking right up to him with no regard for personal space, squinting up at his face. aejeong was definitely not helping the situation in the slightest. “are you on crack? you look like you could be on crack, but you also look like you’re sick. dying even. but you are also craving something. now that i’m sure of.” she was a lust demon after all, and people tended to lust for all sorts of things.
