First I get a glimpse of the blond braid down her back. Then, as she yanks off her coat to cover a wailing child, I notice the duck tail formed by her untucked shirt. I have the same reaction I did the day Effie Trinket called her name at the reaping. At least, I must go limp, because I find myself at the base of the flagpole, unable to account for the last few seconds. Then I am pushing through the crowd, just as I did before. Trying to shout her name above the roar. I’m almost there, almost to the barricade, when I think she hears me. Because for just a moment, she catches sight of me, her lips form my name.

And that’s when the rest of the parachutes go off.

When i was a kid my mom and i had a code word to let her know when i needed her to say no. For instance if a kid at school asked me to come over and stay the night but i really didnt want to, id call my mama and ask her, and then end it with “please, Mom?” I never call my mama Mom, just Mama or Moomoo, so she would know immediately to say that I was grounded or had too much homework or some other bullshit. We also had a system the other way around, so if i called her to see how her date was going and she needed an out, she would call me babydoll and id tell her i heard scary noises and was frightened and needed her to come home or something. Anyways, my point is that every family should hqve a system of codes to keep them safe. Go do that.

Just an hour after I posted this a police officer took me to the office and they talked to me about this because my teacher turned it in. So I got in trouble but I refused to take the post down because this is so important to me. We don’t have many people speaking out against mental illnesses and we have to start somewhere.

Update: I was barely passing his class with a C and he was one of those teachers who made you feel like a failure. I ended up taking the class online my own way with my own time and got an A. That says a lot and I feel so much better about myself. I will never take this post down and I will never feel ashamed because of it.

I finished reading Red Queen last week :) it was very exciting and the world opens up a lot of possibilities. I'm not sure what will happen seeing as there are another two books to come. The second being : Glass Sword. Have you read Red Queen yet? What was your opinion? Message me :D

I just watched the most entertaining episode of once upon a time I have seen so far. It made me laugh and cry. It was simply amazing. It was season four episode 11! I'm so excited to see what happens next :D

I couldn't help myself. I started reading All the bright places by Jennifer Niven. So now I am currently reading 3 different books and I won't be surprised if I start Hidden soon. :) Books are so much better than spending time worrying and stressing.
