Kings Management Botches up Task of Transferring Captaincy

I’ve always known that Kopitar, being the player that he is, would get the captaincy one day. However, I feel bad for Brown because of the way it all went down. I understand why he would speak out and I salute him for standing up for what’s right. The way the management handled this is wounding not only to DB but to the team and to me :lol: and it puts a dent on Kopitar's new captaincy.

I am reminded that hockey is a business and any ‘management’ no matter on what level, could behave in such an underhanded manner. I wish that this kind of work bullshittery did not touch my hockey team. I wish that the Kings management would’ve conducted the tricky affair of changing captains in a more respectful way. Brown was our captain when we won our first ever Stanley Cup. Respect!

Oh well, I hope that the long time between now and the first game next season is enough for all the bad feelings to dissipate. I don't want Dustin Brown to leave the kings!!! And i wish Anze Kopitar nothing but the best when he begins his reign as the new captain,
