Haven't been active lately due to a combination of life stuff and developing an addiction to Kerbal Space Program.

Here's my most recent piece. It's a jaded response to America's imperialism and warmongering.

Today's print. For this piece I patched together several smaller prints then tied them all together with a full page print on top.

Tried gel printing onto a wooden canvas. I definitely need to experiment to see if I can get a cleaner pull. But this still turned out great.

I think this one is going to be called "Monsoon", I've been stressed pulling my hair out trying to figure out mockups for my prints. Also the encyclopedia page I transferred had section on monsoons.

I've been experimenting with doing some abstract pieces on the gel plate. It's actually quite a challenge since on the gel plate you work backwards. It makes jt a little harder to just paint without planning.

After some touch ups on the black and white; this piece is done!

I'm really enjoying this hybrid process I've developed. The subject image as made digitally by modifying a stock illustration, then traced onto the gel plate in sharpie. I love the results I've been getting with this psuedo-collage process.
