My sister and I have been building a Zoo AU of Homestuck since 2016 but we never really shared any of our ideas until now. We will probably just post art or post ideas for the AU but if enough people are interested we could start doing in-character asks. Enjoy and feel free to ask any questions.

Jake English

Jake English works in the Zoos concervation programme. He goes around to moniter wildlife and will tell the other keepers on how to make better enclosures. All this travel means heisn't always around though. He lives in a flat on his own but travels so much he isn' there too often.

Dirk Strider

Dirk Strider works at the Zoo as a Zookeeper. His main job is to build, maintain and repair enclosure and large pieces of enrichment. He is currently living with his younger brother, Dave in a flat.

Roxy Lalonde

Roxy Lalonde works at the Zoo as a Zookeeper. She mainly focuses on animal training and performs lots of shows for the visitors. She is currently living with her younger sister, Rose in a largish studio flat.

Jane Crocker

Jane Crocker works at the Zoo as a Zookeeper. She mainly focuses on the animals nutrition but does do other husbandrt things too. She sometimes makes treats at home for the animals. She is currently living on her own in her suburbian house.

Jade Harley

Jade Harley works at the Zoo as a Zookeeper. She normally cares for the animals but she really likes to train the animals. She only does behind the scenes stuff like crate training but she is trying to get better. She is currently living on her own in her huge mansion.

Dave Strider

Dave Strider works at the Zoo as a Zookeeper. He does animal care stuff but likes learning about the behaviour and individual preferences of each animal and give them the best enrichment possible. He is currently living with his older brother, Dirk in a flat.

Rose Lalonde

Rose Lalonde works at the Zoo as a Zookeeper. She does normal husbandry but she often goes around to check the physical and mental wellbeing of all the animals. She is currently living with her older sister, Roxy in a largish studio flat.

Sorry I haven't written in a while. As you can expect with this whole disease going around, I have been bogged down with college work. New stuff is coming soon though. Fox and Myself have a little challenge we are doing, the first part of which should be completed in a couple days(hopefully). I hope you want to hear about the kids in this AU!

Zoostuck Kids?

What would you guys think about us introducing the kids into this AU. Neither of us can draw humans so we can’t have art like the others do but I will still do a brief introduction on them.

Picking the Names Part 3

Last one! Highbloods

Equius's Zoo Name is Archer. Saggitarius is Latin for archer.

Horuss's Zoo Name is Arrow. Archery uses arrows

Darkleer's Zoo Name is Bullseye. Bullseye is the centre of the target used in archery. Also, Bullseye from Toy Story is a horse.

Gamzee's Zoo Name is Miracle. Motherfuckin Miracles.

Kurloz's Zoo Name is Bones. Because he wears a skeleton costume.

The Grand Highblood's Zoo Name is Lucifer. Because he is evil and the devil is evil and the devil is called lucifer.

Eridan's Zoo Name is Prince. Partially because he is the Prince of Hope but also because he generally acts like he is royalty.

Cronus's Zoo Name is Danny. He looks like Danny Zuko from Grease.

Dualscar's Zoo Name is Sultan. I wanted it to match Eridans name and he also acts like a king.

Feferi's Zoo Name is Princess. Because she is just straight up a princess.

Meenah's Zoo Name is Queenie. Because she will be queen.

The Condesce's Zoo Name is Betty. Because she is Betty Crocker.

Part 2 Mid-Bloods lets go

Nepeta's Zoo Name is Tea. Her Planet is the Land of Little Cubes and Tea and it’s just a very cutesy name.

Meulin's Zoo Name is Catnip. We all know she is smoking catnip.

The Disciple's Zoo Name is Sugarcube. There isn't much to go with so I thought I would just match it to Nepeta.

Kanaya's Zoo Name is Marya. Dracula's daughter is called Marya and Kanaya is a vampire so 10/10 definitely did not go to the wiki page

Porrim's Zoo Name is Eliza. Another Vampire, this one from Tekken.

The Dolorosa's Zoo Name is Virgo. I'll admit this one is a little uninspired but we know almost nothing about the ancestors so cut me some slack.

Terezi's Zoo Name is Puff. As you might be able to guess, they all have dragon names. This one is based on the song(and other bits of media), Puff the Magic Dragon.

Latula's Zoo Name is Gible. Another dragon name, this one based on the dragon type Pokemon, Gible. Also works with Latula’s gamer girl personality

Redglare's Zoo Name is Tiamat. It’s Tiamat, the five-headed dragon goddess from D&D. I think it’s pretty fitting.

Vriska's Zoo Name is Charlotte. It's Charlotte the spider from Charlotte's web.

Aranea's Zoo Name is Lucy. Obviously Lucy from Peanut comics.

Mindfang's Zoo Name is Cutlass. It sounds super cool and it’s a classic pirate weapon.
