It's not expressed well, but Fasrick caught the orb more towards the center of the space station and then moved the arm to help compensate for the decreased momentum and to keep the contents of the orb (in this case Jack Quazm) from turning into a fine goo.

I'm back after an extended absence! I apologize for it, but also it's just been a stressful time, these past few months. Stress about the election, the election itself, my dog passing away, a bunch of other stuff that was terrible, and then my tablet stopped working so even if I wanted to draw comics I couldn't!
