Steve who is a werewolf/wolf shifter due to upside down bullshit and immediately shifts when he enters the upside down, something he previously didn't know happened, and his wolf is weirdly obsessed with Eddie for reasons

Everything progresses basically the same just more steddie and wolf shenanigans until they're planning on whose going where for the fight and Steve realizes he can't go fight vecna because if he's forced to shift in the upsidedown chances are vecna has at least some semblance of control over his wolfish nature

Instead he goes with Erica and max, Dustin and lucas form the distraction and Nancy robin and Eddie go to fight

Steve ends up killing Carver before he can break Max's walkman (sorry Steve you have to deal with the guilt of killing a man for my amusement) letting them win without major injuries

Hopper is also a wolf now due to upside down stuff that happened in Russia and there's a tense moment before they recognize each other

on another note, watched The Mummy (1999) the other day and I couldn’t help  feel like the O’Connells and the Addams (Addams Family Values (1993) would get on really well ya know? The O’Connells are basically the pastel adventure version of the Addams, surely they would just be vibin’ over tea and crumpets in an extremely haunted mansion having a ball of a time
