Main spread of my latest zine “Doctors Orders” which is a collection of the same photo but at various configurations with framing and size. It was done as an experiment with various things being tested out. Book is bound with recycled boxes of Dr. Pepper soda.
Photos were taken by me in Los Angeles. I regret that I cannot credit the model because I shot this a year ago and forgot her name. The shot was totally impromptu.
From my Forgotten Veterans series. This photo is of the first test of the concept. Veterans are given many labels like “crazy” and are often discriminated against in the workforce. Many suffer with the guilt from the wars they fought in. Over time the mental suffering combined with the treatment from society has led many to suicide. This series highlights some of the veterans issues and thoughts common to veterans.
This exact version “Killed himself” will be what will be spread out as street art, mostly left in public places for the stranger to come across. The back of the label will have a link for further reading.
Stay tuned to this project by following my #ForgottenVeterans tag

The crowd favorite seems to have been this cover with the image of a dead moth.
The one that prompted a more vocal audience was this cover, “Fuck Your Craft Beers.” Commentary about how craft beer can be overhyped.
The cover with the “Anonymous” image uses the old default avatar of “anonymous” authors on Quora.
I shot this image of a knife when I was on a set of a movie I was in. Then with glitch software I created this effect. Then duplicated the image.
The image below was shot in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego, CA. The text next to it on the right is commentary about American’s modern paranoia. Because even though we are being watched, does not mean that one can really stopped from what they intended to do, either good or bad actions.
The following image was shot on an abandoned property in Redlands, CA.
I created a cover using the image of the Angel Moroni over the Mormon temple in La Jolla, CA.

Helped out at the San Diego Public Library at their Teen Zine event on February 21, 2016.
I brought supplies and walked a few people through the process. Most just wanted to explore the variety of zines out there. So I brought a few from my collection which covers a range of topics, materials, techniques, and genres. Many were enthusiastic to explore, a few put something together, everyone had fun. Great crowd.
