When the eldest son of Safiye Sultan and Sultan Murad III became the Sultan,he ordered the execution of all his 19 brothers.18 of them were half brothers of Mehmed, that is, the sons of huge numbers concubines of his father.One of those executed,most likely he’s name was Şehzade Mustafa,was the youngest son of Safiye Sultan.Some claim that on the day of execution the brothers,Sultan Mehmed III gave the order to execute also and all the pregnant concubines of his father.
