WHY WOULD HE REJECT T H I S
roncap choker should sleep with one eye open
wait what did Nathan say?
I understand that because it was the off season some people might not know, I didn’t find out when it initially happened either.
This summer he said it was difficult to be straight in a homosexual dominated sport. Something I find to be particularly ignorant when you consider the vitriol that out skaters receive from the media. When you consider that some skaters are not allowed to be out. When you look at the total number of out figure skaters at the Olympics and see that number is 9, and that’s a record high.
Clearly this is him being tired of the insinuation that skating is gay, which is completely fair, but that doesn’t make his words any less harmful.
Perhaps he knows many more skaters who are gay, but the fact that they aren’t publicly out is telling.
Also personally I don’t see how saying that it’s a fairly homosexual dominated sport helps the point he’s trying to make
He can apologize but that doesn’t mean that I, or anyone else, has to forgive that.
Maybe one day I will, but not right now
The American figure skater expressed frustration with stereotypes of being a straight skater in a ‘homosexual-dominated sport’ and then apol
Side note: thank you for asking btw I did forget for a moment that not everyone knew, which is on me
i’ve actually cycled through all stages of grief in the past 30 minutes and arrived at the place where nothing really matters anymore! feels great! recommended
4CC is over so we know what’s next…
“ A Fall is defined as loss of control by a Skater with the result that the majority of his/her own body weight is on the ice supported by any other part of the body other than the blades e.g. hand(s), knee(s), buttock(s), or any part of the arm (Rule 503, para 1).”
The third of the four images is especially damning because it’s obvious that the blade of Vincent’s right skate isn’t even touching the ice, meaning that part of his weight is being supported by the side of his foot / leg. His weight is so very clearly being held up primarily by his left arm, next by his right leg, and lastly, his left blade, which is visibly bearing SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN HALF of his weight.
Evidently ignoring Vincent’s underrotations and inflating his PCS was still not enough to place him above Jason, so the judging panel had to resort to calling this as a hand down in order to preserve their pre-determined outcomes. As shown above, this is indisputably a fall, which should have resulted in another -1.00 deduction, which would have put Jason above Vincent, which would have made it even harder for USFS to justify Vincent’s inclusion to the Olympic team after this meltdown.
WHO’S READY

wishing the utmost worst for vanessa james and eric radford as both a team and people. vanessa especially should have retired ashamed and quietly with the knowledge that she skated with a predator for over a year after he commit his crime, under a coaching team that intimidated a 13 year old child into being quiet after being sexually approached by a then 26 year old man in case it ruined his olympic chances, who now will not even return to face the consequences of his crime in the country it occured. radford should have had more respect for his former partner who he spent the last 10 years with, who skated while pregnant with him, and has now taken her chances for a professional or show skating career in pairs, let alone his previous outstanding and very vocal support for a dead sexual abuser in this sport. pure vanity and selfishness, both are disgusting and without shame, and far far beyond forgiveness
