It was around two weeks ago. Basically, I came to Muar only for a night, before I went to JB to met my family there. But then, this small town makes me curious. So, Instead of spending my whole time in the room at the homestay near Jalan Tanjung, I decided to get up from the bed, and take a short walk. The weather was light overcast without any drizzle, which is one of my favourite! After going outside of the homestay, I walked through the street at the house complex. What looks interesting for me is the antennas from the houses. It looks like a bunch of gigantic mosquitoes make a formation. Then, I reached outside and passing through the downtown. I really amazed, this town is really quiet. I opened the map to find any city attractions nearby. So, I decided to go to the Masjid Jamek Sultan Ibrahim. I really like the design, which is a classical mosque, dominantly painted in white, with several blue accents. After that, I went also to the Tanjung Emas. It has a big court with a yellow classical building, a park, and some other recreational facilities. I really want to spend a lot of time here! Local people, either youngsters or elder were having exercise, chit chat, dipping feet near the river, walking through the therapy stone path, but it wasn't crowded. Maybe because it's on Thursday. Next, I came to the more crowded areas. I found a place that I thought is a gallery. I just saw from the outside, while people from the inside were smiling at me, haha. So, I curious and try to find out what's inside. The door seems locked, so I tried to go from another way, but then, suddenly one of the employee open and calling me. She gives me quite information about the place. Oh, well, so that place is a boutique hotel! It is Muo Hotel. And she gives me a tour through the hotel. I really amazed, since I don't even know if there would be a cool place like this hotel. We go to the upper floor, go through the corridor of the hotel, which also have a little gallery. And it also has a saloon at the other side! and then, We go to the highest level, which it will be planned for a rooftop café. This could be one of the coolest place in that small town! Anyway, thank you Lala @lalalayez for the little tour throughout the hotel. Next time, while I visited Muar again, I should try to stay at the Muo Hotel. It was already 7PM, since I don't really know where to go again, I just go to the closest mall nearby. I took a diner and by a little snack, and then take a taxi to comeback to the homestay. Damn, near the mall, I passed through Jalan Sisi, which looks really happening at the night. I was so regret to not tried to have a diner there. I am still curious with Soup House. But nevermind, I will try it someday. I think just it. I took a rest earlier, since the day after, I should go to the terminal to go to JB. Overall, I really enjoyed my time in that little unique town!
