Sugar King used to be a real person.

A 34‑year‑old man named Lanky Miller.

Just “cannon fodder.” Served in different shady military organisations. Went through war.

When a bounty was placed on his head, he decided to transfer his consciousness into an arcade machine he was a pretty good medic and mechanic.

And, well… as you can see it worked.

But inside the game, his personality split in two.

Lanky became the viral part-bitter, bloodthirsty, chaos‑hungry.

And Sugar King became everything good that Lanky once had inside him.

Still, when the workday in Sugar Rush is over…

Sugar King sometimes drifts away.

Remembers what it felt like to be human.

The cold of the trenches.

The thirst under the burning sun.

Hunger. Fullness. The taste of food.

Yeeeeah… King Candy got himself a little piece of a sweet, traumatised military man 😌🍬
