Kia and Kai

Home to the High Princesses Kia and Kai Eberhardt.

These are my two OCs, Kia and Kai. They are twins and Kai, generally, hates Kia while Kia adores Kai. Still working on their profiles but Kai’s simple and extended profiles are finished and I have yet to explain universe. However! I am now taking asks and stuff for them.

Be warned; Kai is very hot-headed, what she says is not what I, as the mun, thinks of you or your character. She is just really mean and easily angered.

I was messing with this generator just to see what and wanted to show that I got 'constant hunger' so I took a screenshot and when I saved it I realized it somehow gave me this instead???

Also today is the first day in like 3 or so days that I haven't had a fever and felt like complete crap. Karin's not letting me do stuff like normal yet - like go with her to volunteering which I'm still gonna do, I want to see the kitties - or like go get something for myself.. but I'm feeling a lot better today.

Know You Mun Mondays

In my old Love Live group, we would do this ‘Munday’ thing, where we’d post a fact about ourselves or something every Monday. Karin and I want to start that back up on this blog.

I’ll be posting something in just a sec, it’s not a fact but Karin insisted I put this up as my Munday thing… I wasn’t even gonna show anyone but I guess I’ll be putting this up…

I just wanted to quickly mention that I have not been neglecting to answer this. I've been keeping it in my box because I visit it daily, even if I'm not able to be on for long. Seeing this always makes me happy, cheers me up quite a bit.

Know Your Mun Monday

So I am super, SUPER shy about my voice. I hate how I sound, and I hate my singing. People tell me I'm good at singing but... I don't think I am. My family is filled with musicians; both my mom and dad are in fairly popular bands in their area and both can sing pretty amazingly. They both play piano, as do I. My grandparents and even extended family on my mom's side are big into singing and music and stuff. No one's actually that shy or nervous about their voice, except for me.

Last night I recorded this, with an actual proper microphone for once and I'm not sure how I feel about the result. So for my Munday tribute, I'm letting you guys listen.

Heads up; I had to be pretty quiet while recording because of people sleeping so I am close to a whisper for a lot of it. My normal singing voice isn't quite as.... awkward, I guess?

I still don't understand the backlash about fixing disabilities here...

Well, I actually kind of do. A lot of disabled people do not want to be cured (again, I don’t want anyone to mess with my brain in hopes of getting rid of autism), but the way people are complaining about the ending just…

Really gives the impression that “fixing” disabilities is just inherently terrible for some reason. It isn’t. It is forcing people to be “fixed” that is bad.

And like I said that time, this just feels weird since there’s actually lots of disabled people who wish to be cured, I am one of them. I don’t get anything out of being impaired or being in pain nearly every day.

Another was Christopher Reeve, a former Superman actor who became quadriplegic after a horse accident and then went on to very strongly promote efforts to find a cure for his condition, as well as working hard towards his own recovery.

I see bodies as shells. We should be free to customize, repair, and even upgrade our own shells. We should also be free to not do any of that.

I don’t see a right or wrong decision here, only different preferences that can all be easily respected by giving people morphological freedom.
