Definitely not a solution, but like...

How acceptable would it look to re-mesh/recolor a penguin villager model to look like a seal? The shapes and silhouette seem pretty comparable.

so glad u pointed that out bc I actually used the penguin villagers as a reference for the proportions!! I feel like it would be totally doable I might look into this
