I love how liberal elitists/feminists call America a “rape culture” and in the same breath defend Islam, as if the majority, if not all, of the Islamic world is one big rape culture that is directly propagated by the teachings of Islam.

do some people not know that being an asshole can get you blocked?
Jesus Christ it’s like almost everyone on this site wants to be special in some sort of way. Mental illness is not a “fun” way to get attention.
A followup to my last post;
If you think you have a mental disorder and are experiencing symptoms of a specific disorder, please go to a mental health specialist and get some help. Don’t self diagnose and refuse to get help, regardless if you have an illness or not.
Speaking from my personal experience living with generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder, I knew I was anxious and depressed before I went to get a diagnosis. I wanted help and am still getting help to this day because I’m not coping with my depression effectively (but that’s beside the point). I didn’t self diagnose, and I never at any point prior to my diagnoses claimed that I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression.
If you know that something is up, go get help, and don’t be afraid of being medicated, 9/10 its going to help you. Don’t just sit and shitpost about how you’re “clinically x” while not getting treatment. Mental illness is not a joke, and trying to self diagnose yourself with something that you can 1, prevent, and 2, can receive treatment for, is you turning a serious mental condition into a trend.
Don’t be that kind of person,
Thank you.
Let it be known that if you “identify” as “endogenous” or are a propagator of the idea of endogenic systems that you. are. wrong.
Saying that you can have a system without experiencing any trauma is like spitting in the face of people who HAVE had trauma, and who have dissociative identity disorder BECAUSE of that trauma.
It’s impossible to have a trauma induced mental disorder without having endured trauma of some kind.
Mental illnesses are not “cool” or “trendy” in any form, and if you are one of these people that self dx’s themselves with rare as fuck mental disorders despite not going through the trauma that 10/10 causes these illnesses, you’re invalidating every sincere person with a dissociative illness.
Questions for radfems and anti feminists;
Do you think that feminism is still needed in the first world?
Do you think that feminism should focus more on women’s issues in third world countries rather than women’s issues in western civilizations?
Do you think that feminism has already completed its goal and is no longer needed?
Do you think that there are still things that feminism can change in the first world?
Do you think that gender equality as an ideology is one sided?
What role do trans men play in the feminist movement?
What should we change about western society to line up with your ideology?
You don’t have to answer every question, of course, but please do give your input on the questions that you feel are important to you. Please give explanations for your answers as well. The whole point of this is to open a dialogue between radical feminists and anti feminists, so please, if you disagree with someone (myself included), do so respectfully. Feel free to propose more questions if you want as well!
i don’t exactly consider myself anti-feminist. i’m just not one, and i wanna answer these.
1) No. it promotes lies and allows real harm to be done based on them.
2) no, because it’s lost sight of its original purpose, like modern feminism can’t be trusted to handle such large and delicate problems like that. other things such as egalitarian and humanitarian reform efforts are better suited.
3) yes, absolutely. you’re more hard-pressed to come across men who don’t see women as partners, equals, or care about their sexual pleasure for example, even if they’re not even feminists, than not these days. attitudes shifted after the second wave, and now feminists are just trying to police wrongthink.
4) not really. all feminism’s doing now is taking more than it deserves and harming dynamics between the sexes.
5) i’m not sure what this one is asking. i think you mean in reference to how feminism is trying to achieve gender equality by ignoring men’s issues, in which case, no i don’t think it should be. men and women both face their own problems in life, but women are equal in our society now. in the worst cases (like radical feminism), exclusively focusing on women’s issues makes you look like someone who has no empathy or personal responsibility.
6) the whole warring between terfs and intersectional radfems is both so laughable and tragic because it’s all about opposing entire worldviews. radical feminism is really cult-like, they’re arguing about ‘real truth’ like religious zealots, and i’m just glad i’m not involved. either way, i think transgenderism in general is an enormous upheaval for the movement since it’s now so tied into the idea of patriarchy and its nebulous influence in the world. it could be the last thing the movement needs to die.
7) pff, make it more free. stop letting people stomp on individual rights to promote groupthink. basically actually let it progress rather than regress.
Thank you so much for sharing your opinions!
