H-hey it's me again c': I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I started drawing seriusly for about 3 months now and i'm having a lot of trouble drawing clothes Can you tell me how you make them look so fluffy and beautiful please

aa first of all, thank you for the compliment! I’ve never thought of the clothes I draw that way so that’s really nice to hear.

to tell the truth I don’t have very good hand coordination so my clothing (and hair) tend to be the product of letting my hand flail about. idk if this makes much sense but I like to let my strokes travel outward and curve where there is the most weight. Here’s an example:

Keep in mind though, I’m an amateur artist and I’m still learning how to draw clothing myself! You’re better off doing master studies from professionals and studying from photos, so take this advice with a grain of salt. Alphonse Mucha and JC Leyendecker are two of my favorite artists to study for drawing clothing, and for drawing in general!
