Today’s haunt prop is Scarionette!

The Scarionette is a prop/animatronic made by ScareFactory, making its debut in 2005. It is still available on their website as of 2026!*

Scarionette comes in two varieties. The strolling, actor-operated version can be puppeted by an actor, much like an actual marionette. The automated pneumatic version features pneumatic cylinders and valves that move the character on its own. In the automated version, the limbs and jaw move up and down as its head swivels from side to side. An optional rig is also available that pushes the prop forward and backwards on its own as well.

Description from ScareFactory’s website:

“Human body parts have been psychotically styled together into a wheel chair marionette. Strolling actor operated version requires actor to push the unit around and actuate the movements of the character by hand like a marionette.”
