The 12 Days of Kinkmas is an event that has been around for a few years, which involves creating kinky works over the holiday period. We've put together a prompt list with one prompt for each day, which can be used as inspiration for artwork, one-shots, chapters of longer works, or anything else you can think of. The daily prompts can be swapped out for the bonus prompts, or you can add the bonus prompts in wherever you like.

With five days to go until the event starts, we've put together a list of possible interpretations for each of the prompts. You might find this helpful if you're not sure how to interpret a prompt or if you're looking for more ideas about what to create!
25th December: Costumes
Costumes, or clothing fetish, usually involves enjoyment of a particular article of clothing, uniform or costume. This could be a person wearing the item themselves, or seeing someone else dressed up.
Examples could be: wearing gloves, latex, corsets, a sexy Santa outfit, pet play, and many more.
26th December: Fighting
Fighting covers a broad range of acts and could include the physical act of fighting, struggling, or overpowering/being overpowered. It could also extend to arguments.
Examples could be: physical fighting, play fighting, sport (boxing, wrestling, etc.), arguing with partner(s), arguing with a third party, make up sex, and many more.
27th December: Shower/Bath
Shower or bath could encompass the actual acts of showering or bathing, individually or with partner(s). It could also extend to enjoyment from bathing or washing others, and more broadly include other acts that could take place in the shower or bath.
Examples could be: hair washing, preparation prior to sexual activity, sex in the shower/bath, and many more.
28th December: Fear
Fear usually involves sexual arousal through the release of adrenaline as a result of fear, and can be invoked via both physical and mental means.
Examples could be: roleplay, humiliation, kidnapping, knife play, thrill seeking, horror films, and many more.
29th December: Body Swap
Body swap relates to the idea or act of swapping bodies or identities.
Examples could be: gender, consensual body swapping, non-consensual body swapping, exploration post body swap, and many more.
30th December: Tickling
Tickling relates to enjoyment from tickling, being tickled, or watching someone else be tickled, either all over the body or in specific places. It can be linked to power play dynamics (dom/sub) and may involve restraints or bondage.
Examples could be: punishment, humiliation, exhibitionism, and many more.
31st December: Temperature Play
Temperature play involves exploring the use of different temperatures, both hot and cold.
Examples could be: wax play, ice cubes, fire play, cold toys, and many more.
1st January: Sex Toy Shopping
This relates to the act of shopping for sex toys, either in person or online. This could encompass dom/sub elements, humiliation or the enjoyment of shopping for pleasurable items together.
Examples could be: a dom taking a sub shopping for sex toys to humiliate them, sugar daddy/mommy, regular shopping whilst wearing sex toys, and many more.
2nd January: Size Difference
Size difference involves the difference in size, height, musculature or weight between partners.
Examples could be: power play, protectiveness, restraint, helplessness, dom/sub, and many more.
3rd January: Humping
Humping relates to the physical act of humping, and could relate to ‘dry humping’ with or without clothing.
Examples could be: dry humping, pet play, grinding against inanimate objects, and many more.
4th January: Name Calling/Pet Names
Name calling and pet names relates to calling a partner names, or being called names by a partner, and can be derogatory and/or affectionate.
Examples could be: power play, praise kink, aftercare, humiliation, and many more.
5th January: Role Reversal
Role reversal is the reversal of established roles and dynamics within a relationship.
Examples could be: switch in dominant and submissive roles, power dynamics, gender, authority and many more.
BONUS: Gift Giving/Feasting
Gift giving relates to the act of giving a gift, either in a physical form (e.g. a Christmas present) or a gesture/act (e.g. sexual favours). It could incorporate elements of power play or dom/sub dynamics.
Feasting could relate to the physical act of eating, but could also be interpreted as a feast for the senses.
Examples could be: sugar daddy/mommy dynamics, financial dominance, free use, stuffing, incorporating food into the bedroom, exhibitionism, vore, and many more.
Heyyy, good day! I just have a question. The prompt humping is the same as dry humping or something like that? Sorry if it sounds dumb, english is not my first language ( T∀T)
Yes, 'humping' can mean 'dry humping' but we've written it as 'humping' so that it can also be interpreted in a humiliation/puppy play way if anybody would like to interpret it that way. All interpretations are equally valid!
Could I ask what Fear is in terms of kink? Is it a predator/prey roleplay thing or is it something else?
We've kept some of these prompts deliberately vague because there's only one prompt per day, so we wanted to leave space for different interpretations. For 'fear' the different interpretations we thought of were:
Fear-based roleplay (e.g. predator/prey or knife/gun kink)
A non-roleplay fear scenario (e.g. robbery or kidnapping)
A comfort-based anxiety scenario (e.g. a character is scared about something and another character takes their mind off things)
Something involving adrenaline (e.g. getting turned on while watching a horror movie or while riding a rollercoaster)
There are lots of ways to interpret this prompt, and all interpretations are equally valid!
Hihi! I've not written in months and got very excited to see a smaller scale writing event, especially one hosted by you guys!! 12 days is totally more doable than 31! My only problem is that quite a few of the prompts don't agree with me, and there's only two bonus prompts to swap out with. I know it's unlikely to ask for extra bonus prompts this close to the event's start, so may I very cheekily borrow some from your Kinktober list? Just the remaining one or two, at least!! Thanks for your time!!
