hyungwon didn’t mean to startle her, it was just one of those things he says out loud without thinking. he seems to be doing that a lot lately. hands shoot forward however, when he feels the box in danger of falling. thankfully, it doesn’t, and hyungwon wipes the imaginary sweat clinging to his forehead. “Sorry, didn’t mean to startle you.” he starts, offering a friendly smile. when he hears luda mentioning doritos is the same time his eyes widen in mixed amusement and surprise. “You mean, you’re allowed to take leftovers home?” he had asked out loud again. “Ah, that’s amazing. An almost unlimited supply of food…” hyungwon continues, only to sigh and bite his tongue for speaking too much. the poor girl must’ve been busy and he was taking all her time with his mindless blabber. “Sorry bout that, I’ll let you on your way now, miss.”
"oh, no, it's fine! honestly i should have been expecting someone to ask me about this at some point on my way home." she says, laughing the matter off. he had nothing to be sorry about - the box was still safe in her arms, no harm done. at the question, she nods cheerfully. "yup! we cant let all of this good food go to waste, can we? might as well give it to someone who will eat it. like me!" she thinks his enthusiasm on the matter is endearing, and she can't help but admit that her endless supply of doritos is kinda impressive. she knew that she couldn't eat all of it herself, though, and she didn't want the boy thinking he was intruding on her or wasting her time. despite the fact that they just met, luda didn't like people feeling bad over such inconsequential things. "actually, i know we just met but would you mind helping me carry this box? if not, at least help me make it lighter by taking some bags for yourself! this thing is getting surprisingly heavy."
