My thoughts on going on goose, (SOME OF) the vas making racist remarks, and the finale.

Tw for suicide, racism, and transphobia

Simplified but:

Micheal and the other person’s (my memory sucks) apologies were mid. It’s not my place to say whether or not they’re in the clear (I’m white as fuck). While they did acknowledge that it was a racist remark, it felt like they downplayed it a bit. I’d say keep an eye on their actions bc who knows what they really think.

I think gooseworx is a really bad responder to all the bullshit she’s done. “If you’re being racist thinking you’re defending me, shoot yourself” is a really shitty, horribly executed response. I think that she is also should be heavily scrutinized.

I think that the finale was good. Ofc I have my critiques but overall, 7.5/10.

I think the inclusion of a white cover of “Isn’t She Lovely” (which was initially sung by a black man about his daughter) is really distasteful. To have this song used for someone who isn’t black, sung by someone who is not black, when the song is about a black person is kinda weird to me, especially regarding the casts history.

I think the VAs should match the live action races. Asian person should play an Asian person, etc.

Also, small rant in a rant, Jax is Asian. Her live action actor is Asian and saying “having a brown person be bullied by a white person all show is bs” is true, but not applicable.

I like Jax but she’s just the worst. “You can handle complex characters” well your complex character gave Ragatha a panic attack by bringing up her abusive mom, bullied at least one person to suicide, and bullied several others into severe pain and anxiety. All of this to be played as twice as tragic than everyone else.

Also Jax is a trans woman, it’s canon, go home.

Again, I’m white-Asian-native, it is not my place to say if they’re racist or not. I still love the show and glitch but hate the racism and everything about Jax tbh.

Had a dream that there was a new Pokemon that was ghost type and it was like. Half a greyhound. It was a spectral dog that was known as one of the fastest Pokemon. And yet it only had it front legs. There were wispy floating stubs on its back half which sort of implied there COULD be legs, but they never reached even close to the ground. It stood on its front legs as if the back legs were still there.

I don’t know what this Pokemon’s name was but its appeared in many of my dreams so either they made it real and I forgot or I’m being haunted by a Fakemon.

I have been informed it is not a real Pokemon so I’ll share another detail I recall seeing about it more than once.

One of its main features about it is that it could run stupidly fast, like, a solid 100 MPH (at least thats my best guess from a dream) but more impressively or eerily is that it could go from 100 to 0 almost immediately, stopping in a stance where it stood up straight and at attention

I assume this is for artists so sure thing

I imagine that this dog is very tall and sleek (like a good five feet tall), with a sickly pale (with just a hint of light blue hue). Its eyes are a pure empty (yet still piercing somehow) white. Along its front half across the back and its legs are pale green sets of stripes, almost like racing stripes.

As for how the ghostly “back legs” worked, they looked sort of like this

with his physical form slowly transitioning into an pale blue ectoplasm, and there were amorphous hints of what could have possibly once been legs. Despite completely missing his back half, the posture seen here is still its regular posture, standing straight up, as if a soldier at attention.

Weird Yuwen headcanon I have.

I was rewatching the show and in Steal yk how Tay’s dad is like “he has to like cheese”? I looked it up and Asian people are a lot more likely to be lactose intolerant.

So Yuwen is lactose intolerant imo and didn’t want to hurt her/her dad’s feelings so he just suffered😞

Kai and Yuwen Headcannons because their friendship literally means the world to me:

Yuwen definitely tried to “teach” Kai how to pitch but she was one of the pitchers for her old Baseball team (She still learned a lot from him because softball “dosent pitch the same” acording to james)

Yuwen was the first person to know that Kai was trans and Kai was the ONLY person who know Yuwen liked Taylor

They definitely hype eachother up before games, maybe even plays, and they have their own secret handshake

Even though Kai connected with the team fast, Yuwen was the one she clicked with the most and was her first real friend

I like the headcanon that Yuwen is Transmasc so I think he gave Kai some of his old clothes so she can have more fem clothes (and vice versa)

They have sleepovers every once in a while at Yuwens (not Kais because She’s scared of how her dad will be and she thinks her Grandma will bombard him with questions)

Yuwen and Kai either walk home together after practice and school or ride in the other persons parents car on ocassion

Yuwen is a good cook because his mom owns a food truck and even though he “made fun” of Kai for saying Vegatarian he’s more than willing to try and make Vegatarian dishes because its something new that intrests him

While Yuwen and Taylor were dating Kai would give him advice and hype him up before dates

Yuwen is an aggressively supportive bestfriend, sometimes to an overwhelming degree, but dude he just wants his best friend to be happy

Yuwen is the #1 Goldilocks fan (Kai x Laurie) and its the one thing him and Rochelle can agree on, Yuwen tries to get Kai to talk to Laurie to repay her for encouraging him with Taylor

Kai Teachs Yuwen how to skateboard on ocassion, bros hands and knees are scratched up but he’s getting the hang of it

Yuwen helps Kai walk after her ankle injury (Kinda like what he seemed to be doing at the end of episode 8)
