ドラゴンハーフ | Dragon Half
Ryuusuke Mita (1988-1994)
Another commission by @hernyart! This time, it’s Mink from Dragon Half! Dragon Half is a comedy by Ryūsuke Mita about a girl named Mink who is half human, half dragon. It had a 7-volume manga (1988-1994) and a 4-episode animated miniseries (1993) that only released 2 episodes due to lack of interest. The initial conflict is that Mink wants nothing more than to marry her favourite singer/idol Dick Saucer, who also happens to be a dragon slayer (you see the conflict). However, there is also an overarching antagonist named Azetodeth, who Mink occasionally has run-ins with his minions throughout her adventures. Fun Fact: Some of the side characters in the manga are named after famous Nintendo characters (Pia’s parents [little black-haired friend] are Mario and Peach, Lufa’s parents [little blonde-haired friend] are Zelda and Link). Aside from the names, the characters don’t really look like the famous Nintendo characters. Unfortunately, I can see why the anime failed to find it’s market, but it’s really a shame because I would’ve enjoyed a complete series for this. It’s one of the first anime I’d ever watched way back when I first realized anime was a thing, which is why I am very bias towards it.
In which “Jenny” Bravo is sick of your shit
I know this show isn’t for me and kids don’t typically care about art styles, but can I say I did not expect the magic school bus reboot looks like this
why does it look like a doll divine dress up game and not even one of the good ones
Ripley has a very good grasp of the word “touch” and we often use it as a command word to get him to try to be less afraid of new things or to ask his permission to pet him. He knows if we ask him to “touch” a person or object, he’ll be praised for gently tapping his beak against it. He also knows exactly what we mean when we ask him not to touch something,
Today I yelled at him for biting the wall and he did probably the pettiest thing I’ve ever seen him do: he went around touching stuff in the room and saying “no” and staring at me to make sure I was watching him do it.
Oh my gosh…
Your expressions are amazing. Great job. I can’t stop laughing.
