So my friend @i-just-spilled-my-beans and I were discussing more about my six brides au and we started to talk about how the girls blood would differ from Yui and how it would affect the brothers. So since the girls are witches and are called the "Daughters of Lilith", their blood would taste and smell rich to the brothers. Contrasting with Yui's blood that tastes sweet to them. Now Yui's blood makes the brothers stronger if I remember correctly, but the sister's would have the opposite effect instead. But the brothers never realized this until the effects started to be noticeable, because their blood tasted so delicious to them that it's addictive. So like a drug, you crave it but it is slowly destroying you. You may be wondering why that is, and that is bc their mothers put a protection spell on them after Maiko's mom got a divination that told her that their daughters would encounter vampires. The spell was supposed to kill any vampires that attempted to harm and drink their blood, but it instead became like a drug or a cigarette instead of the brothers. Addictive but slowly killing you. The reason it ended up like that is because the protection spell had to be renewed and when the mothers died, the girls attempted to renew the spell on their own. The problem was they were too young to remember every detail of the spell, so they were never able to renew it the same way their mothers did. So now their blood is as appealing as it is toxic to the brothers. Karlheinz even knew this about them. They knew who the sisters mother was and what they did. He even knew about their attempts at replicating the spell and found their failed attempts cute. Another reason he put them as part of the Adam and Eve project is because he wanted to see if the brothers could build up immunity from drinking their blood. Not to mention he had a backup in place, just in case something goes sideways for this particular "experiment". And the thing is, they will eventually build up immunity. But that only happens, bc they made them fall in love with them. Yk, like how miraculous ladybug's initial plot had chat noir needing to make ladybug fall for him to break the ring's curse. In this case, the brothers need to make the girls fall for them so they would not see them as threats and therefore the protection spell wouldn't see them as threats too. Making their blood safe to drink and have no negative side effects to them, which gives them immunity. This would be hard for Reiji and Laito, because Tomomi and Emiko literally start like enemies to lovers. Or in Emiko's case, doesn't like Laito and see through him and it will lead him to begging on his knees for her. I’m not dead btw, I’ve just been having a hard time figuring out the last sister’s name. When I made her, my thought was that she’s the one willing to throw hands for her sisters. And I think you guys are already seeing the pattern by now that I made the sisters similar to the brothers in a way. For this sister’s case, she also has anger issues like Subaru, but the difference is that she can regulate her emotions better. It’s not 100% bc she’s a teenager and all the sisters have some sort of trauma. So far I have these names compiled as options for her name:

- Mayumi (真由美): truth, reason, beauty

- Katsumi (勝美): victorious beauty

- Rumi (瑠美): lapis lazuli beauty or precious blue beauty

These are all the names I have so far. Each one sounds fitting for this sister, but I’m not so sure. Btw, I searched up each name to know if there’s a specific folklore or culture tied to the meaning of the name.

Poll is closed and the results are in, Mayumi shall be the name of the youngest sister. The meaning seems to fit so well considering this is the sister who will throw hands but is able to process her emotions, specifically anger, in a healthy way. Mostly, but this just fits so well with Subaru.

So I finally figured out the name for the twins. It took a long time for me to figure it out bc I focused on too many things to figure out which name suits them when I should’ve been focusing one key trait of their character to be helping me figure out their name. So the names are:

Emiko (恵美子): blessed beautiful child

Momoko (桃子): peach child

Now these two will be paired with Laito and Kanato respectively. Emiko is the heartbreaker twin, that’s why her name means blessed beautiful child, you’ll figure out the blessed part one day. Momoko is the one with the porcelain doll, I pick this name because peach in Japan is associated with innocence and femininity which are key traits of her character. But peach also symbolizes protection against evil, now in her case she protects what’s hers. In a way that involves murder, basically the second most crazy sister with Tomomi taking the number one spot. Which is why I picked the name for Momoko for her as I planned to pair her with Kanato. Now that’s all I have for today, but I might just post what kind if magic Momoko does tomorrow. Still figuring out the other 3 sisters, but I should at least tell you Tomomi and Reiji's dynamic. I've already established that Reiji meeting Tomomi means that he finally meets his match, what I meant by this is just how similar the two are and how Tomomi always bites back whenever Reiji insults Yui and, in this case, the other sisters. Basically, pot calling the kettle black. They both basically started by calling each other out until eventually they found common ground and started tolerating each other and there were fewer insults between them, doesn't mean that Tomomi stops calling him out; she still does. I still need to read the manga and watch the anime again, but at some point they do get steamy and yes, Tomomi is the bottom in this case. Or the sub, with all those times Reiji talked about disciplining and whipping if i remember correctly, he might just awaken a whole new kink Tomomi never knew. Okay, so I haven't figured out anything new yet for the other 3 witches, so I wasn't able to decide on their names. But I do however have a backstory for Maiko and Tomomi. Before being adopted by Seiji Komori, they lived with their mother who is a witch and was the one who taught them everything they know about witchcraft. When she had Maiko, she was born prematurely. Because of this, their mother had to pay more attention to Maiko than she does with Tomomi. Now this does affect Tomomi, but this ended up more like how Kate Sharma was dealing with everything instead of hating Maiko like how Reiji hates Shu. Maiko also notices this and reminds their mom to not forget about Tomomi, and she does take accountability for it. Because her inattention was unintentional but it still didn't erase the fact that she does pay more attention to Maiko than Tomomi. Now despite Maiko being born prematurely and having a much weaker body than her sister, she does seem to be physically capable of being a dancer and still continuing it. The most impressive part of this is the fact that she does ballet. Tomomi and their mother do help by giving her a potion to help with her body's weak constitution, but aside from that she succeeded through hard work and resilience. Now their mother was a part of a witch coven that the other 3 witches mothers were a part of, as you can guess they all died and so the rest of the girls decided to continue their coven. Now being the oldest, it would make sense that Maiko becomes the coven leader but she gave that role to Tomomi instead. Her reason? Tomomi had a vast knowledge on witchcraft and had a better grasp of said knowledge than she did. Keep in mind, they were young when they lost their mothers and we're still baby witches. But Tomomi was already past that stage, because of that Maiko wanted her to become the coven leader and Tomomi accepted after much convincing from her. Now as you can see their story parallels Shu and Reiji's with the contrast of their mother also paying attention to her youngest child even as she still keeps her eye on her eldest. Honestly I'm looking forward to writing the part where Shu and Maiko & Reiji and Tomomi get to telling them their backstory. This is gonna be fun. So what names do you have for your six witches so far?

Well it’s 5 witches as Yui isn’t a witch and I’m still including her in this au. So far the one I have for in order of oldest to youngest are these

Maiko (舞妓): dancing girl or dancing child

Tomomi (智美): wise beauty

These are the ones I have so far. Maiko is gonna be paired with Shu while Tomomi will be paired with Reiji. I still haven’t figured out the other three yet cause I’m still figuring out how I want them to be to pair well with the other brothers. I know one of the sisters is gonna be the one to be good at divination so she also has a tarot deck, but so far I’m drawing up a blank on which sister that should be. If you guys have any suggestions, I will welcome it.

So as I was at work, I was listening to Oscar winning tears while finishing a draft. Then my head was hit with the realisation that I need to make the sakamaki brothers cry in this au. Especially Reiji, I need him to cry because of my OC. The urge to see him cry is strong and tempting. Aside from that, my OC is his match because when i thought of her it was basically, "he finally met his match," literally calling out on the times he is arrogant. Even when he berates Yuu, she kinda defends her (this is still when the sisters still have a much strained relationship with her) cause there are times where he is out of line from what I remember. Then there's the fact that she has qualities that Reiji once admired in Beatrix. Only difference is that she is able to express her affection to those she cared about. Admittedly the conclusion to her character is that she will someday be Morticia Addams. The ultimate goth baddie. Also, I am deciding between giving her a bats nest hair or something more reminiscent of Morticia Addams. Honestly that's all for now, I'll try to come up with names tomorrow. Okay so the next thing i'll be adding to my au is the possibility that my oc with shu will end up a throuple pairing with Yuma/Edgar. I still need to read the manga and watch the anime again but i am considering that possibility. aside from that, considering the fact that diabolik lovers is basically dark romance and how certain characters make sexual innuendos, there will be smut for certain characters at some point. that's it tbh, haven't been able to think about anything else yet. anyway, pls drop a comment or ask, i'd love to know what you all think and it will help me with writing this one day

So I mentioned in my previous post about my Six Brides AU that the older girls are gonna be paired with Shu and Reiji (separately btw), they are not the only ones being paired. Here's the pairing that i will do in my au:

Shu x Oldest Witch girl who is also a dancer

Reiji X Second oldest witch girl who read more about the occult and their mom's book of shadows

Ayato x Yui

Kanato x Gothic lolita witch

Laito x Heartbreaker witch

Subaru X Quiet girl witch

I will not lie, I have mostly only thought about Reiji and second witch more than the others. Probably because I kinda made her the leader of the coven and kept thinking about their dynamic a lot more. This is because I made her also kind of a sadist and unhinged. She is kinda willing to kill and curse someone if given reason to. Not to mention the fact that she does take on like a mother like role with the sisters, which is a result of the Church's treatment of her and the rest of the witch sisters. Just like how Reiji seems to have taken that kind of strict father like role with the brothers (pls correct me if i'm wrong, it's been a long time since i consume DL). The difference is that she doesn't have any of her sisters, except for early Yui due to their relationship at the start but she'll come to see her as a sister later on. With that said, i made Reiji and her a yandere because I can see that happening with these two. That and I have been inspired by this one theory: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSu5pjFpd/. But that's all I'm typing at the moment. I haven't come up with names for them yet, I wanted their names to have meaning that's in relation to their character. Okay, so going back to my six brides au, I should probably tell you guys who the other 5 brides are. Like I said in the first post, the other 5 brides are witches. I made it this way bc I can and I wanna see how this could go. Now as for who they are, I’m still piecing things together. But I can give you some things. Now we have two girls who are older than Yui, these two girls are sisters. They are a direct contrast to Shu and Reiji. I say this bc these two are quite a bit similar to the two brothers but they don’t have a non existent healthy relationship. They actually have a healthy sister relationship and are quite emotionally intelligent. And yes I made these two for Shu and Reiji. Now for the next two are twins, one has a porcelain doll and the other one is a heartbreaker. I say she is a heartbreaker bc she is not impressed with any boy who confesses their love to her. Now for porcelain doll girl, she’s gothic Lolita and that porcelain doll may or may not be haunted. No I will not elaborate, at least not yet. Finally we have the youngest, she’s generally a quiet girl and doesn’t really talk much. But she is ready to throw hands when it is necessary, like when Ayato pushed Yui on that couch in the first episode, she was so ready to throw hands if Reiji didn’t come in. Now this is all I can type out rn as I’m at work, but please let send me an ask about this au so I can write more. I tend to lose my hyper fixation if I don’t interact with it for a long time and found no motivation. One more thing before I end this post, the older girls are the ones who lead this coven of witches

Okay, so since my hunt for that particular fic is fruitless. It seems that it is now up to me to write the very fic I wanted. That being said, I have a shit ton of fanfics I am working on. Both published and unpublished, not to mention my original story too. So even though that is the case, I will share with you all my ideas of this us, which I will dub as the

“Six Brides au”

In this au, Yui wasn’t the only sacrificial bride sent to the Sakamakis. She was sent with 5 other girls who are adopted like her. The only difference is that these 5 girls were neglected and treated as outcasts by the church. The reason, they are witches. For the sake if the Christian imagery and themes used in the anime, game and manga, the girls are Christian witches. At least until I decide otherwise, but they are all goths to contract Yui’s more lighter color pallet. Now as for these girls relationship with Yui, I’d say it’s rocky but Yui never treated them like the church does. She’s genuinely confused on why they practiced witchcraft and she does technically try to discourage them in an effort to “save their souls”. But she will come to understand that witchcraft isn’t as sinful as the bible says it is. Especially when they finally explained how each verse that discourages it had a bit more context and that got Yui to realize that it wasn’t actually sinful. But back to being sent to the sakamakis. Karlheinz somehow decided that sending 6 brides instead of 1 might present a much productive results and he thought that the other 5 brides are an interesting variable not because they are witches. But because they are one coven who call themselves the “Sisters of Lilith” or the “Daughters of Lilith”. Still can’t decide which is better but if you guys are interested in this au, I will set up a poll for you guys to vote on it. Now with that being said, this is his most interesting variable and that’s all I could come up with at the moment on the whole Adam and Eve project. I’ll need to rewatch the anime and read the manga to come up with more stuff for that. Anyways, that’s all for now. I’ll make more about it later and come up with more later. Similar to how I made ocs for DL and my magical guardian au, Selenic Rebellion, which were inspired by the works and character designs of Clamp (I.e Cardcaptor Sakura and Code Geass). Almost if not all of my female ocs for FCBF are very much inspired by magical girls in general.

Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Precure, Mermaid Melody. Heck, even the western influenced versions of the genre like Winx Club, W.I.T.C.H, and Lolirock.

Why? cuz as much as I like making more female Buddyfight ocs who happen to be buddy fighters themselves, I’m also not afraid to add in some magical girl whimsy and campiness to spice things up. ✨
