how can you live with yourself?
Ice Emperor
.
Yes
why is there a poll here
It would've been interesting if the writers established Kai's fear of swimming earlier on in the series instead of just shoehorning it in season 5 when Nya got her powers for some added conflict.
Maybe it would have been a sore spot for Kai, one that he might've gotten made fun of as a kid for? The story potential for this is endless. I think his overconfident personality needs a better crutch than being an overprotective older brother. He needs something only he can claim. Something that only he can overcome (aside from the whole Green Ninja thing).
Something that NO ONE talks about is the lore implications of Nya being able to control ice (if she *really* tries) at the end of season 11. That haunts me
How old was Zane when he first joined the Ninja team?
Same age as the others (15-18)
Slightly older (19-25)
Older (26-30)
Significantly older (31-40)
Boomer (41-60+)
Other?
The autism within me churns at this question because it is not clear enough. Are we talking mental age or literal age or what??? Zane age is so confusing. In terms of “mental age” he is clearly on par with the other ninja at 15ish. If we’re talking literal age probably older than 40, since we see Dr Julien go from middle aged to dying of old age. Also we could count the time since his memory was rebooted in which case that is pure head cannon as far as I can tell and I have always thought Zane was wondering the world somewhere between 10 and 15 years before Wu took him as a student. I am too autistic I could write a 5 page essay on this topic but I shall spare you, for I am merciful.
You certanly have a point, I did not take mental age into account! When making this poll I only had his physical age in mind. While there is hard evidence to support him being 35+, some people believe that Dr. Julien was already pretty old when he invented Zane. Similar to your headcanon, I also think that the idea of him wandering the world post-memory wipe does help even things out with his mental age/physical age balance. That also does explain why he can act kind of childish in the early seasons (1-2) and not like a.. 40 year old man lol. (he can be both tho teehee)

I think that if I was forced to make Juno into an all-new elemental master, she'd probably be the elemental master of like.. tar/oil.
I wonder what Cyrus Borg was up to in season 9. All of Ninjago City was taken over and he didn't really do anything to help the resistance, despite absolutely having the funds and spare resources to do so. Was he in his billionaire survival bunker or something?
Maybe despite being so kind to the Ninja, he does still have that selfishness that comes with that immeasurable amount of money (and the cutthroat modern tech industry).

AAAA this turned out so amazing!!!
How did Mr. E (Echo Zane) end up in the Sons of Garmadon?
The Sons of Garmadon hacked him for their own purposes
The Sons of Garmadon twisted the truth to radicalize him
Echo was radicalized into evil before he met the Sons of Garmadon
Echo just wanted to escape the lighthouse
Echo was dying from low maintenance and had no other choice

Some leaked minifigures from the worst Lego™ Ninjago set ever- with all new acessories like the new Lego™ cigarette, shitty warm beer and bootleg Ween merch!
The concept of Zane being built with a profanity filter is so funny but also kinda messed up. Like, it does take away his autonomy as a sentient being buuuut it is pretty funny when he makes inhuman beeping sounds when he's pissed off
If he did, imagine how euphoric it must've been for him to curse for the first time after rebuilding himself post season 3. He wouldn't swear like a sailor, but he'd definitely mumble profanities under his breath when he really lost his cool (pun intended). Although the first time the other ninja heard him swear would have been priceless too.
Jay: *dropped the last of the expensive tiny screws inside of the mech engine that he was repairing with Zane for three hours*
Zane: "Are you fucking serious.." (barely audible)
Jay: "YOU CAN SWEAR NOW?!"
