Why is Lady Macbeth on the 5th floor? I'm not referring to why she's there during the loop, but I would like to know what her file says. I'm not going back to Sleep No More anytime soon which is why I am asking instead of checking myself ☹.

I don’t spend much time on the 5th floor nor do I follow Lady Macbeth very often…so I have no idea, other than I assume she is checking into the King James Sanatorium for mental health reasons. . Does anyone else want to field this one? What does her file say?

Slightly related, after my last batch of visits I’ve started to feel like the 5th floor is the “reality” in the show and the other floors are the memories/experiences/visions as a shared memory space of those who were committed to the King James Sanatorium. I am probably totally off base with this thought but spending more time there, reading through all of the patient files, and thinking about Lady Macbeth’s visit to that floor brought this to my mind. For me, it explains the overlapping narrative pieces (Macbeth/Rebecca/Agnes) and puts a different twist on the 6th floor. Again, probably totally wrong but it’s made me think about the show in a different light.
