My story āSing To Me,ā which I uploaded on December 9th of last year, was plagiarized across multiple works by the following account, which was created roughly two weeks ago (they were originally @/areyouhelenamarkos. They have since changed their username two more times.):
I understand this user released an official statement on their blog addressing the situation, but they omitted the major detail that there is screenshot evidence supporting these accusations.
Please! If you engage with this account or their content, I implore you to review the evidence for yourselves, because there is a substantial amount of it, rather than blindly accepting their words as they continue to deny any wrongdoing.
I identified roughly 52 instances across three separate works involving identical plot progression/development, including major plot points occurring in relatively the same sequence as mine, along with shared themes, multiple instances of identical dialogue and key details, and scenes playing out in extreme or exact likeness to how mine did:

I will do my best to address this pressing matter that has recently been rising in the community, while also responding to some of the comments this user has made regarding the situation. If you are willing to stay and hear my side, I deeply appreciate it, and I will do my best not to take up too much of your time.
For those of you familiar with the current situation, I want to apologize for the delay in this follow-up. This whole ordeal has been very stressful for me, and I felt it was best to take some time to better assess how to proceed in raising awareness in the broader community that this type of practice is occurring.
Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment, my disbelief and distress clouded my judgment and led me to take rash and, admittedly, impractical measures that I believed were appropriate for informing others of this incident at the time. However, I made those decisions without fully understanding Tumblrās terms and policies. This has resulted in my main account being flagged, and it is now consequently shadowbanned.
Moving forward, I will be more mindful to approach this situation with greater delicacy and level-headedness.
Now, onto addressing the account (I will keep this as quick and concise as possible.)
These are their comments under posts from both my main and this account, some of which they have deleted, and I have highlighted the parts I wanted to primarily focus on:
The main portion I want to note on this page is another huge indicator of ai-usage (aside from the abnormal and over-occurrence of em-dashes I mentioned in a previous post. This is from the fanfic on their account titled "Okay?":
They claim to use a translation tool for their writing, as English is not their first language. I have been speaking to a couple of mutual MJ writers about the current issue of plagiarism, ai-plagiarists to be exact.
One of my mutuals, who is more active on Wattpad, has noticed a lot of ai-generated fanfics popping up on the platform. They were the one to inform me that this is a common excuse used to explain strange grammar that is often attributed not to a language barrier, but to people running othersā stories through chatgpt to rework parts of the writing before uploading it as their own.
When I first addressed this, I briskly scrolled through their page just to gauge the kind of activity and upload frequency they had. However, when I went back later to investigate further, I saw that they had about four or five fics posted. Of those, I recognized three as stolen reworks of my fanfic āSing To Me.ā So, Iāve now come to realize that this user had been primarily taking from my account.
I actually want to thank them for not taking the fics down. It allowed me to get the screenshots I needed, as well as discover that another work had also been plagiarized from mine. This is not a mere coincidence of āsimilar tropes and dialogue.ā I encountered numerous occurrences across their works that contained the same scenes, phrasing, plot progressions, and verbal exchanges as mine, which is a blatant display of stolen ideas.
By now, as you have taken a look at the provided link above and can recognize this situation for what it truly is, it is abundantly clear the lengths this user is willing to go to in order to maintain what are obvious lies. And they did follow through on blocking me, which raises the obvious concern that they will target another account in my place.
As I mentioned before, this has been a hot topic among mutual writers in the fandom. In fact, I went to get advice from an account on here that recently had the same thing happen to them. This creator has been active in the Tumblr MJ scene for even longer than I have, and I was greatly disheartened to learn that their work, which I deeply admire, was not the only one to have been plagiarized, but that I was already the fourth MJ account they had heard this happened to.
Not only is this a major demotivator for fanfiction authors who work hard to give you all content to enjoy, it sows distrust and skepticism in a recreational activity we, as readers and writers, use to build connections, form friendships, and create a joyful, friendly, and thriving online community.Ā
If you can see how harmful this behavior is to the fandom experience, and value the time, passion, and effort writers dedicate to creating stories free of charge for all of us to indulge, then please consider helping to protect this creative space. Like, reblog, and share this message wherever you can to help raise awareness so authors can better safeguard their work against potential misuse, and readers can be better equipped to recognize plagiarism if they ever come across it.
I want to make it very clear that it is NOT okay to message or leave comments harassing this user, and I strongly advise against doing so. Simply sharing this post in any way you can is sufficient.

itās really the hope and drive for me!!!! he has a palpable like. virility is definitely not the word but like an exuberance and energy during that time into thriller that i just donāt see captured in later years

the concept of michael introducing you to his beloved pets. him considering you worthy of being around the only beings who didnāt judge or purposely misunderstand himā¦because youāre that in human form. even if you werenāt an animal person and he teased you about being wary of some of them, you knew how much this meant to michael. if the animals responded well to you, heād have a twinkle in his eyes and say āthey love you already but Iām not surprised, they know a kind spirit when they see itā (iām about to start crying)

Can you imagine being his safe place, him relying on you for suppurt after a stressful situation, just cuddling you kissing you helps him relaxing - like the screen in the movie when he is uppset and goes to Bill to just drive him anywhere. What if he goes to you or what if he grabs your hand and puts you in the car with him.
My other favourite sceen was when he said to Branca "You are my man" Can you imagine the real Michael telling this to you shifting his sunglasses to be able to look at you "You are my girl" and then he wants to take you home.
