I’ve waited so long to say this and I can’t believe I’m finally saying it…I SAW THE SHOW!!

I saw the matinee on May 31 and was simply in awe. I fell in love The Outsiders when I read it for the first time in eighth grade and it’s been my favorite book ever since. The musical soundtrack has been on repeat for a year now and after tuning in to so many Soc Saturday lives and listening to audios I’m so happy to have experienced it in person!!

Even with the buildup, the show exceeded my expectations and then some. Everyone gave wonderful performances and it was so cool to see a different side of all of these characters. It definitely gave me some ideas for some fanfics and I can’t wait to explore that.

As if my year wasn’t already made by getting to see the show, I got the book from Brody! He was even nice enough to come up to me after bows and congratulate me for getting it! (If anyone happens to have a full video of bows/a slime tut of the finale from the 5/31 matinee I would be forever in your debt if you were willing to send them to me!!)

I love this show, this book, and this story. I can’t wait to keep writing my little stories about it and to see how it continues to apply to my life in the future!

Ponyboy’s eyes went from half-open and confused to wide and fearful. His breathing became frantic and shallow, almost as if he was hyperventilating. The more breaths he took, the more he panicked, likely smelling the smoke. He began to shake uncontrollably, and it was clear he wasn’t all there. And Darry had a pretty good idea as to where he thought he was.

soda was a bug eater as a kid. like he just straight up would pick up spiders and ants and ladybugs and whatever else, inspect them and pop them into his mouth. he prolly still does sometimes for no reason. steve is so scared of ladybugs (of all things) and soda will straight up ne like “nah man i got this” and just…eat it
