in continuation of my previous post that was kind of a crossover with termina. some stuff about him under the cut
yes. meat grinder. also known as one of, if not the most overpowered weapons in the entire game and your best bet for maso mode (if you have something to negate limb loss). but hear me out on the mechanics and you'll see why it's like that:
i know that the bottom line for all playable termina characters is the same, the only major differences are what you get in prologue and that some characters can't equip certain weapons. this fat fuck's line is lower, kind of an extra challenge softened by a powerful starter weapon.
- other options in the prologue are the shotgun and sandman's kiss, but the grinder is kinda the superior option imo;
- can't use otherworldly damage weapons and has to rely on skills/items/party members when battling enemies that can only take otherworldly damage;
- base speed is 7 instead of 10. which, yes, means that some enemies have a double turn against you, the player, unless you negate it by speed accessories. which means you'll have to try extra hard if you want to have double turns;
- then, the run option; short and simple, he doesn't have it. your party won't be able to escape combat if no one has a certain skill. run button is absent, the skill of another party member has a lower chance to activate, and the convict himself can't learn it in general. this effect still applies if he is a party member that isn't the player character;
- then there's overworld speed. x0.8 of the regular walk and sprint speed, easy to remember;
- the tattered duster you get from the start gives small resistance to burn, but otherwise, utterly useless. in reference to hatred not applying any sort of fire damage to the player;
- order soul exists in the lore, but i had to draw a design for it myself
now, the moonscorched! the body shape and the coat are heavily referenced from lord of the flies as you can gather. wip's name was "the dragon" but you can probably come up with a better one.
- no specific stats on health, damage or defense, but the short answer is "a lot". immune to burn;
- overall speed would be 8.5, with limbs being slower, head and the tail being faster (which if my memory serves me right doesn't matter since the game only reads the overall value, but hey, it's there!);
- has a mechanic similar to leg sweep for the tail. watch out, lest he'll cut off one of your legs with ease. a coin flip attack;
- another coin flip attack (yes, there's two!) is bite. beheads the targeted party member if failed;
- fire spit is the weakest, but most annoying attack since it doesn't do much damage but inflicts burn (the heartless one's rose vines style. THAT level of annoying);
- sadly, doesn't drop the weapons stuck in the body. honestly they wouldn't be that good anyway, basically "stock_sword_1";
- no. no, targeting the genitals does nothing. you can, but there's no point in doing that
didn't come up with a special skill tree branch for him, probably a mix of others' abilities since termina has pretty much anything you could ask for in that regard
another bandom has hit the towers. blame this guy for making the most wet and pathetic self insert characters in his mvs (except for glen. he genuinely scares me)
