It's been a busy but great weekend! How was your weekend? Finished planning my cousin Lana 's wedding party accommodations, flights, and more; Had the awesome pleasure of providing itinerary and presentation on Ghana to a group of beautiful ladies thanks to Delicia Bradley; and picked up smurfette for a week with her beautiful daughter (ME!😁). It's going to be a busy week as well since I have multiple travel requests in queue and a to do list a mile long but God is Good! Hey Sis did you ever think you'd be here? Did your #dreams build these sand castles in the sky filled with peace and heavenly solitude? Sis, we've definitely walked a road filled with shards of glass with a new lesson learned with every turn. We've found many side roads and on some we wandered for many miles only to find that they twisted and turned and led us right back to that sharp, jagged, rocky road. Girl, we've been through it for sure! I guess we could be bitter, downtrodden, scorned, faithless, hate-filled and ill-natured; but, what would that solve? What does regret get you? I think we should #unapologetically accept our past as character builders to the women we are today. No twist and turn was an accident but destiny. I don't know about you, but I have made a choice to find and I have found #strength, patience, #perseverance, resilience and inner peace through all the destruction and devastation. #myjourney has brought me closer to God and brought me to a place of #self-assured #triumph. I no longer look to others to define my happiness, I no longer search for things to define my happiness, I no longer hang my existence and worth on the love of another. I find peace, solace and comfort in just being me and living life on my own terms. I don't need anyone's validation of my worth, I don't need their definition of success, all I need is my faith, my humbleness, my ability to love unconditional and my God given talent, strength, tenacity and determination to live this life to the fullest. God blesses me every second of every day and even when I find those moments that bring me despair, God surrounds me with angels of light. Sis, if you haven't found that place, I hope you stop, close your eyes, and listen to your angels of peace and solace.
