At the moment, I have a friend who is living in an abusive home in Sweden. His name is Emil, and his stepfather has threatened to kick him out of his only home. With no funds and a family who abuses him (doing such things like yelling at him and holding his hand over boiling water), our only hope is to keep him off the streets and purchase him a plane ticket to the United States to come and stay with one of us until he can get back on his feet. He speaks fluent English, and he only wishes to get out of his abusive household. At the moment, we are simply attempting to get him out of the country. However, Emil wishes to one day take his 3 year old sister along with him to avoid any future abuse to her.
The two of them are living in a dangerous environment. It is a house where his dad continues to punch him in the face while his mother watches, and we only hope to give him a chance to start fresh. We want to give him a nice home where he is not beaten by his father. Please reblog so that we can get the word out. Even a dollar is okay.
