DO NOT SCROLL! KEEP READING! THIS IS LIFE OR DEATH!
my good friend nader has been fundraising for a while now to try and help his family survive in gaza, and to hopefully evacuate to safety in egypt. unfortunately, the weather has taken a turn for the worse, and with that, he’s gotten sick.
sickness in gaza is devastating. medicine is not available, or if it is, it’s prohibitively expensive. nader needs that money to feed his family, including a father with cancer and a niece that’s only 1 year old.
nader’s family will freeze or starve if we can’t help them. they need our assistance. please, this december, think of them as family and be generous towards them.

Now that I have your attention, I'd like to introduce you to my friend, Ibrahim @aburakhiaibrahim !
Ibrahim has been fundraising tirelessly for his family of 28 (15 of them children) over the past 11 months, but his family's campaign has never gained much traction. Originally they hoped to evacuate Gaza, but with the rising cost of basic necessities and the border closed, they decided to lower their goal and focus on making sure they have enough to eat.
Their campaign is still going very slowly, and Ibrahim tells me that there is very little, if any, food. What food is available is exorbitantly priced because of wartime inflation. The IOF has made their lives miserable by limiting aid and constantly bombing the area - he says it is particularly hard on the children.
Please help my friend! Donations have never been that numerous, but they've recently slowed down even more. In the past 3 days, his family has only received one donation per day.

ok last thing. but what people fundamentally need to get through their heads is the significance of gaza fundraisers not being the same as like mutual aid when you're helping someone get groceries, because it is a genocide. there is insane deliberate scarcity and prices are unmanageable, because there is nowhere nearly enough for everyone, so only people who can pay can eat. and what positioning individual fundraisers as the only course of action does is quite simply give a tiny percentage of random people whose fundraisers take off the ability to pay those prices while thousands of others can't. and every one of those thousands of people without a fundraiser is suffering through the same inconceivably horrific reality. it is giving a few completely desperate people out of hundreds of thousands a slightly more favorable position in a horrific war economy of imposed scarcity. and what grassroots community kitchens do is try to mitigate in some small way that inconceivable hierarchy of who can pay and who can't, by stretching ingredients as far as they can last to cook meals at large scale and give them out at no cost. and obviously people are still going to send money to their friends and families because this is hell what else are we supposed to do but please just think about that before promoting endless individual fundraisers as somehow the most ethical way to help
Operation Olive Branch has a spreadsheet dedicated to mutual aid, local distro, community kitchens, etc. in Gaza.
This is a good place to start if seeking to donate to a community resilience action. Just contact the group(s) directly to make sure they are still active. Life in Gaza and Palestine is full of uncertainty.
Help me so I can help my brother and his family.❤️
I am Omar Mazen Rabah Hammad, I am 18 years old, and my brother Muhammad Amr is 41 years old, married and has 4 children. I live alone. We have lost many members of our family and our sisters, and Muhammad suffers from MS.💔
This disease has affected my eyesight. I can't walk on my feet because of the nerves. I hope everyone stands with me to get treatment outside Gaza. 💔💔
This is my picture before the war on the Gaza Strip. I was living in peace. I was a person who loved life. I was able to provide my children with a happy life. But now, unfortunately, I will not be able to do anything because of the illness and the loss of walking. Most of the time, I lose my sight. I hope that everyone who saw my story will participate and donate even $10 to save our lives.❤️🙏
I lost my mom and dad, I lost 4 of my sisters, and my older brother and I are left. I am the youngest, Omar. I hope everyone stands with us. This war has destroyed us. I lost my sisters.💔💔

My family's future has been completely destroyed and I can no longer live in Gaza. I want to leave it with my children, so I need $5,000 per person.

Iyad Alanqar ( @eyadanqer ) was excited to pursue accounting before his university was destroyed. And it wasn't enough that his dreams were stolen, but so was his home, and then after fleeing with his family to Al-Shifa Hospital, that was bombed too.
Iyad had to pull his nieces and nephews out from under the rubble.
Please imagine the trauma experienced by his nieces and nephews - Nasser, Jana, Mohammed and Hind - as well as Iyad who had to help rescue them.
Art by @chokulit
They are surrounded by violence everyday and forced to suffer the effects; Iyad has severe respiratory issues from all the smoke and phosphorus. There is no medical treatment available to alleviate his pain.
Donations have slowed SIGNIFICANTLY for Iyad's family and they must raise €40,000 to travel abroad, get medical treatment for Iyad and allow him to continue his studies. I implore you donate as little as €5 because they have only raised €3,191. They need €809 to reach €4,000!
Please follow Iyad as his previous account was banned, and I encourage you to read his story in further detail.

This is Eman from Gaza, I used to work as aid worker for an international organization till 7th Oct, after the war I lost my job, house, and safety.
I used to provide my children with a comfortable life, now I cant provide them with food or clean drinking water.
My campaign aimed at evacuating us from Gaza, unfortunately, it did not succeed and I used the fund money to be displaced from one area to another inside Gaza. I'm calling your humanity to kindly support me and my family survive the genocide in Gaza.
I implore you to help rescue me and my family from this catastrophic existence in Gaza. Your donation could provide us the means to escape to safety in Egypt, where we can access crucial healthcare and therapy. Your generosity offers a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness we face every day.
Please, not only consider donating but also share our story widely. Your empathy and support can make an immeasurable difference in alleviating our suffering and helping us rebuild our shattered lives.

Please support this campaign because she always helped me write stories for the campaigns we were publishing. She was offering all her time to help people in need, and now she needs support to help her family. If she donate $5, it will be more than good for her. If she can't donate, share to reach donors.🙏🏻
please think of the disabled people of gaza. please think of the diabetic people of gaza. please think of the neurodivergent people of gaza. please think of those whose lives are relying on medicine that has either stopped coming in due to the blockade, or is available in such scarcity that its price has skyrocketed.
we're approaching winter. on top of the challenge of securing waterproof tents and sufficiently warm clothing, some diabetic people in gaza have stopped taking their insulin as they can no longer afford it. those who are able to acquire it for now know every shot may be their last.
please reblog the fundraisers you see on your dash. please. if you claim to care about palestine, NOW is the time to prove it. everyone said gaza will be worse off if trump wins - well, now he has. the least anyone can do now is reblog and share and DONATE to as many fundraisers as possible. especially if you're american. you want harm reduction? this is harm reduction. help gazan families.

Genocide flattens every discussion. There are no new conversations to be had about the destruction, death and cruelty. After more than a year, there is nothing left to be said about various media houses, corporations and international bodies of law aiding and abetting all that has been happening in Gaza, either. It is the banality of evil, it is colonialism. However even in this atrociously banal circumstance, I do think what still is a continued point of hope for Gazans and what still pushes so many of them to reach out to the world, is the support people around the globe have shown and still continue to show. Which is why I am here on behalf of the Shehab family ( @fahedshehab-new ) and requesting you to help them survive through this winter. This won't take much of your time so please read:
Fahed is currently supporting 13 family members in total- his own family and that of his sister’s.
He has to look after 8 children now, with the youngest being his son Yayha who is barely having anything to eat because the price of baby milk is exorbitantly high in Gaza.
The genocide has taken a toll on Fahed’s daughters. Sahar and Dana spent a whole year under the threat of bombs and right now instead of getting to be teenagers, they ask their father if they will survive. They have even said they don't want to live if they lose someone.
The family right now immediately needs clothes to keep them warm throughout winter. Fahed’s family is from the north and has been displaced several times before they came south. Displacement is dangerous and a silent killer because often essential items are lost and cannot be replaced in time.
Please consider that the weather has already turned colder around the world and that which is only mildly uncomfortable to us, presents a dire situation for Gazans. The families don't have a shelter and there is no way for tents to adequately protect from cold winds and rain. So right now the immediate need is for warm clothes and it can cost upto $400 per person. With THIRTEEN PEOPLE to take care of Fahed immediately needs to raise at least 5k to buy the required apparels. So please boost and donate.
Currently at $66,248. He needs to reach $71,248. Please help however you can.

Please remember that every donation, even if it is 5 dollars, is a ray of hope for the families who have lost everything.
I do not know if polls really help with ‘engagement’ like the trends seem to suggest, but either way, it’s something fun before asking you to hear me out about something serious.
I have been chatting with Dina Alanqar @zinaanqar.
She is currently in Gaza with her husband Ahmed and their four young children, the youngest only born in June. Like so many others, they lost their home in the north and have been displaced many times since. They’ve been struggling with lack of healthcare, clean water, hardships that I can hardly even imagine.
Their family needs funds for travel and accommodations when the opportunity to leave Gaza comes, and for their survival until then.
The GFM has been vetted, listed here on @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi verified fundraiser doc, at 264.
We need to show up for one another in love and solidarity, especially amidst this genocide. Please donate if you can, and at least share if you cannot. They are close to their goal!
Hello,,
I'm Ahmed Alanqar, 34 years old, married to Dina Alanq… Abdallah Alanqar needs your support for Helping Ahmed's Family: Escaping
please please if you come across this post at least reblog it so maybe it'll reach people who can donate, i don't know how to properly write the most convincing post to get people to share and donate but interaction on all my other posts for Seraj have stopped. what do i have to say??? Seraj spends so much time and effort campaigning for the survival of his family, we can not afford to let him down. he is supporting a family of 9+ people and he has helped other displaced people in his community many times. he had to take a short break a few days ago because of the mental effort it takes to fundraise online. it is not easy to depend on strangers on the internet for your and your family's literal survival. i'm trying to help take some of that pressure off him. i will make as many posts as needed until he reaches his goal. it's been OVER A YEAR since the beginning of this stage of the genocide and we cannot look away now.
Seraj needs to reach 19k on his Chuffed TODAY. This is extremely attainable, only $250 to go.
he needs to reach 25k by October 15 and i believe this is doable, but only if people actually contribute.
Seraj has not reached $21k yet. He needs to reach $25k by October 15, which is just 3 days away. He still has $4,425 to go. Thank you so much if you've donated and shared, but donations are starting to slow down now. I'm not trying to guilt trip anyone and I know a lot of people are struggling right now but it's really frustrating to see this post still getting notes but donations stalling. I wish I could give more myself but I've completely run out of money. I said I will keep posting on Seraj's behalf until he reaches his goals and I will. Most of us are privileged enough not to be in a situation like this and instead of feeling guilty we should be using our privilege to help others.
$20,575 raised as of Oct 12
$4,425 until next goal of $25,000, which needs to be raised by Oct 15
$9,425 until final goal of $30,000
I've included a screenshot from Seraj's instagram story so you can all know how dire the situation is regarding necessities such as food, soap, gas, internet, toiletries etc.
This situation is extremely urgent and out of their control. I know that his goal can be reached, please continue to support him. I know you are all good people and want to help people in Gaza in any way you can, so here is one way you can do that.
Thanks to all of you, Seraj has surpassed 27,000 as of October 23rd!
He needs to reach 31,000 by October 31st. This is 8 days and $3,348 away.
Remember, Seraj actively uses these funds to provide for his family every day, so there needs to be consistent donations. This is their only source of income.
If we can raise just $348 he will reach 28k by today!!
if roughly 35 people donated just $10, or 70 people donated just $5, we would get there!
hey i’m really, really broke. i have some bills coming up, and, if anyone feels like throwing anything my way to help me out, it is greatly, greatly appreciated. thank you.

Not a novel observation by any means, but it’s become incredibly evident just how many people claim to oppose Nazism on the basis of signifiers rather than any particularities of ideology.
