Are you ready for the “Merc With a Mouth”?

Deadpool comes out this weekend. Here’s a few reasons why I’m excited about it.

1) Finally we get a superhero movie (or whatever Deadpool is) in which the primary aspect of the movie is a superhero running around and kicking serious amounts of ass. I haven’t been this excited for a Marvel trailer since the first Avengers movie. I’m expecting great things from this movie and I hope it doesn’t let me down...*cough cough Thor movies cough*

2) Since X-Men Origins came out a million years ago, I (along with half the population of the world) have wanted to see a standalone Deadpool film. They made Deadpool this weird I don’t even know what in the Wolverine movie, but I thought that Ryan Reynolds would be awesome in a movie on his own as the Merc with a Mouth.

3) It’s not Green Lantern. Do I need to say more?

4) It’s introducing X-Men and characters we haven’t seen from that universe yet, which is getting me even more pumped for X-Men: Apocalypse (more to come on that).
