Elijah Precciely 11-year-old child prodigy was accepted into Southern University on a full-ride scholarship last year has just started classes at the university. Precciely told KLFY, “I’m very excited. I’ve been waiting on this for long, long time. This is my environment.”

Precciely was home-schooled by his mother started taking college courses in biology, physics and business at just 8-years-old and earned a spot in Southern’s Honors College in 2018. In may of 2018, the 11-year-old became the youngest person in history to receive a full-ride scholarship to Southern University.

Due to his previous earned credits Precciely will start at the college as a sophomore and plans to major in physics.

“I love to be up here on campus. I love to learn,” Precciely said. “But what really strikes me is when some people think I’m 15. Either I’m a tall 11-year-old, or a short 15-year-old.”

Precciely told the station he’s ready for the challenges of college.

And that part is consistent across all four of the Gospels. Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John vary in a lot of places, but they’re consistent on the money changers story. Also, the paintings that this inspired are pretty rad.

Finding out that Frances Dana Barker Gage, a white woman, rewrote Sojourner Truth’s famous speech to be more stereotypically “Southern slave” (complete with slurs and misspellings like dat, dere, dey) when Sojourner Truth was actually from New York and spoke only Dutch until she was almost ten and wouldn’t have actually sounded that way linguistically and decidedly did not use the phrase “Ain’t I A Woman?” at all is…whew. And on top of everything, she embellished details about Sojourner Truth’s life (like the number of children she had/how many of them were sold into slavery), wrote that ST said that she could take beatings like a man, and the reception of the speech in the room (she claims ST was called a n*gg*r, earlier accounts say the room was welcoming).
