More than anything, taking Bio and Chem together have really opened my eyes to just how amazing the human body (or any multicellular organism for that matter) really is on a grander scale. Furthermore, in consideration of everything going on at once going down to the very quantum level, its kind of humbling to think we're really just a collective of billions of individual (arguably) conscious organisms, all working towards one collective purpose. Even the very workings of the cells themselves are made possible by millions of different chemical reactions, acting in some sort of grand cohesive orchestra, conducted by a precise yet blurry set of physical and quantum laws. Those laws themselves, though we may not have a full understanding of them yet, are not much more than an innumerable set of equations and formulas, all being executed as one giant calculation in some sort of grand cosmic process initiated by the big bang. I can't help but at least entertain the speculation that if reality and what everything is made of on a sub-quantum level really boils down to is strings of numbers, doesn't there have to be something completely beyond the bounds of our existence that is performing those calculations? For anyone more versed on theoretical physics than I, isn't this the "logical" or thought-deduced basis for the hologram universe theory?
I dunno, maybe I'm just bugging out. Being tired, a bit stoned, having some time alone with my thoughts, and procrastinating all at once lead to crazy ramblings
