There are no other realities, universes, worlds; you are not limited by what you can imagine. Even if you cannot imagine it, everything is possible.
Please be careful to deeply understand my words before forming an opinion… using the same logic as you have used where you said there are no other realities etcetera then we must regard every determinable seeming thing with the same unreality, that is we should also always say there is no me , you , internet, earth and so on . Of course it is known these things do not have solid substantial existence, however as everything freely appears so also do these seeming phenomena appear as well.
So yes my friend, definitely so ,other realities may seemingly appear—of course! But my followers, readers and those conversant with non duality know that it goes without saying , these things do not have an independent existence
Second of all, when I said “if you can imagine it, it is possible” I am not talking of the mere definition of imagination as in visualization, I am referring to imagination in relation to non duality which is anything that is made known due to the presence of it being within the field of Awareness.
Awareness/Self is the foundation of seeming reality, everything which is and possible is made so because there is awareness of it which therefore means that whatever you can possibly know of (other apparent realities or worlds whatever) exist in the same unreal yet present way everything else within Awareness exists and that is everything.
As long as you believe you're a body, then there will be practical things for you to take care of. But when you realize that you're not the body, you're not the mind, then there no longer will be practical things for you to take care of. Yet you will appear to be taking care of them. They'll be taken care of better than you could ever do before. At the same time you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it's not you that is the doer. You're not the doer. Yet everything will be done.
how do you distinguish imagining for the sake of fulfillment vs daydreaming?
oh i love daydreaming and i feel like daydreaming manifests really fast. In the past i’d say stuff like “daydreaming manifests too” (holds true still) but now i feel like.. there’s no difference between daydreaming and living from the end. You’re enjoying yourself in both aren’t you? You’re living having your desires freely. So there’s really no need to be worried about whether you’re “daydreaming” or not, if that makes sense.
TLDR: You’re aware of having your desires in both 🤷♀️
When your mind feels completely stuck or trapped in a cycle, you could ask yourself 'Can I allow myself to see it in another way?' without forcing any particular change in thought. Just asking that open-ended question allows you to take a step back and it softens the charge, it takes you back to neutral ground. Suddenly you are reminded that it can be seen in a different way, it doesn't have to be the same way you had always thought of it, thinking it was something fixed. You're reminded that you have a choice, in fact you always have a choice in how you see something and you can choose to see it how you want. Remind yourself of that freedom and allow it to be.
One way to deal with those difficult, intrusive or scary thoughts that are hard to ignore is to see it transformed in your mind into something totally neutral. You can have a designated image or symbol for this, it just has to be something you see, think and feel completely neutral about. For example.. a random food item on a menu, or a cloud in the sky. So when an intrusive thought comes up in your mind, pause for a moment in stillness, then give that thought a shape/form/colour and see it transformed into your designated neutral image/symbol. Now all of a sudden, it's not scary at all! Then let go of that now neutralised thought and allow it to simply fade away. If you keep doing this, the same thoughts you once found to be scary will eventually be completely neutral thoughts you find no reality or meaning in and it's like 'oh whatever, moving on'. You won't even need to neutralise them with this exercise anymore.
When the hand is lifting, Infinite Radiant Energy is lifting it, not "you". When an action is being done, Infinite Radiant Energy is doing it, not "you". When an accident happens, Infinite Radiant Energy makes it, not "you". When the sun rises and coffee is being savored, Infinite Radiant Energy is doing all that, not "you".
When the stock price goes up and money is made, Infinite Radiant Energy is doing all that, not "you". When wallet is lost, Infinite Radiant Energy did it, not by a "you". Even when you think "you" are seeing, the effect of seeing is not coming out of a "you", the effect of seeing is Infinite Radiant Energy's doing. Even when you think "you" are hearing, the effect of hearing is not coming out of a "you", the effect of hearing is Infinite Radiant Energy's doing.
If the word "Infinite Radiant Energy" sounds abstract to you, you may replace it by the word "God". From the Mind's perspective, it seems that there is a "you" doing all the above. It seems that a "you" assumes responsibilities and endures consequences. Please notice that the Mind's perspective is only a seeming, should not be take seriously.
The more you notice the seeming, the more profound the realization gets. Although it seems that "you are a person", there is not actually a "you" or a "person". Infinite Radiant Energy may seem to show up like a "you" and a "personal", but never deviates from Infinite Radiant Energy a tiny bit. The sense of regret and hope is a seeming also.
Since all is done by Infinite Radiant Energy, who can regret and what can be hopeful? The sense of responsibility is an illusion too. Since all is done by the same Infinite Radiant Energy, there is no entity assuming responsibility. The very concept of "responsibility" falls apart and becomes meaningless. All doing seem to be random, but they are autonomous and inevitable.
k, so i've been ruminating on the levels of creation today, primarily the first two and how this impacts how i affirm/imagine.
at the very top, we have the father: the great I AM, the divine mind, the void, source, etc. whatever label you want to use for it. this is pure is-ness: it just is. it's ultimate reality. it's all moments, all possibilities, all things superimposed over each other—everything everywhere all at one. it's existence itself, total unified fulfillment, perfect and unchanging. this is what we mean by "creation is finished." everything already exists but only in pure potential.
the only way for god to know itself as god is for god to become aware of itself and boom: we have the first manifestation of ultimate reality, the son of god, your I AM awareness. this is the second level of creation. the great I AM just is, whereas your I AM awareness is aware that it is. because in order for awareness to exist, it must be aware of something, and your I AM awareness is aware of being. it's pure beingness.
there is only one moment, one thought, one being—the great I AM—that we are experiencing from infinite vantage points. the passing of time, moving through physical reality, my fingers typing away on this keyboard, they're are all shifts in awareness to create the illusion of a linear horizontal experience within ultimate reality: it's the appearance of change in the changeless.
and the more i contemplate on this, the more i realize, understand, and accept that we've already been given everything. the kingdom is ours because we are one with the father; we are one with ultimate reality that is already all things, all moments, all possibilities. but again, these all only exist in pure potential until we choose what to call forth into our awareness, and we get to shift our awareness through this one moment in infinite different ways.
it's our free will to choose or not choose a certain experience for ourselves from the infinite menu that is god: all things, all possibilities, all potentials. not only does god always say yes to everything, but god already said yes to everything by giving you all that it is. this is why in the parable of the prodigal son, the father says, "son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours."
your I AM awareness cannot be separated from the greater "I". this is the paradoxical nature of awareness jesus referred to by saying "the father and i are one" but "the father is greater than i."
when you're saying it's already done, it's already yours, it's already true, you're not lying or stating anything untrue or unreal. that reality/moment where your desire is fulfilled already exists, and by affirming/imagining—i.e., choosing—you're putting your awareness on this fulfilled state and declaring it as yours.
in my personal experience of conscious creation, i have never manifested faster and easier when i drop all trying. the more effort i put into manifesting, the more i separate myself from what's already mine because i'm implying that there is a process or performance that must be accomplished for manifestation to take place.
and this is when manifesting feels hard and difficult to me. obviously i am desperate for immediate results because i want a reward for all the work i put into it. but what i'm doing is asking god to commend me for all my hard work when my excess effort actually boasts a lack of faith in what's already mine.
manifesting is simply being aware of your desire, and all we are is awareness. it's suppose to be effortless because it is effortless since fulfillment just is.
now when i affirm, i am affirming with the assumption that it's already been given to me (because it has), and that god has already said yes (because it has). i affirm without concern for conditions, time, appearances, or really anything to do with the physical experience because the physical experience and i are one just as i am one with the father.
it's all just one being here, and that being is you. i recognize that the physical is just the tiniest possible slice of ultimate reality and that all other possibilities are mine in an instant because it's all happening at the same time anyway. by affirming/imagining, i'm calling forth my desired experience and claiming it as mine.
repetition doesn't manifest: awareness does. and when i repeat affirmations, it's only to remind myself of what is already so, so i may keep my awareness on my desired end even when the physical limited self is trying to tell me otherwise. i let that physical self be as they are. i let them fear, i let them doubt, i let them exist without trying to change them, but while also maintaining a greater awareness and understanding that i am more than what my physical organs perceive, and what they do perceive is one of limitless possibilities, all of which are available to me in an instant with a single decision.
as i posted earlier today, it's not that conditions/circumstances don't matter or that you have to ignore them. i recognize that no condition or appearance—no matter how bleak or alarming to the physical self—can possibly limit the limitless being i truly am: god.
because through god, all things are possible. through me, all wishes are granted, all paradoxes are unified, and all fulfillment just is.
there is nothing to change. there is nothing to fix. there's only your desired experience to choose. choose it over and over and over again. because we're already persisting no matter what; you might as well persist in fulfillment.
Hello! It's been a while since my last remix. I felt spontaneously inspired to make this based on my most favourite 4dbarbie asks. This one's a bit different as this time I got help from AI so they did a lot of the legwork and I made edits as I saw fit, it definitely cut down on the amount of time it takes to make a remix! I asked them to write it in a conversational tone like a friendly guru talking to me so some of the wording has been changed (which can sometimes be helpful in understanding the message in a new way) so it's not entirely 4dbarbie's words verbatim but the message remains the same (feel free to check out the source texts if you wish!). Hope you enjoy!
My highlight colour key: key concepts are in pink, action points in purple, really important points in red
Welcome, my friend. Let me guide you through something deeply transformative, yet so simple it might surprise you. First and foremost, you need to get to a place within where the person you’re identified with no longer bothers you. As long as you fight it and try so hard & incessantly to change it, you're only giving it further reality. It’s not about force or willpower—it’s more of a surrender, or as I prefer to call it, a giving up. Yes, giving up. Because even if you're not happy about what you see, there is no way around it besides accepting it. Even if this feels like misery at first, accept it. Just sit with it. Only when you no longer fear things staying the same, when you cease caring, does true change begin.
You see, I didn’t fake being unaffected. I simply allowed things to happen to “me”. Painful, pleasant, it didn’t matter. I didn’t try to change anything. I let go of the exhausting loop of desire and fear, like finally putting down a heavy load. The emotions still came, but I didn’t involve myself with them. They didn’t interest me anymore, I became indifferent and neutral to whatever was happening. If I got what I wanted, fine. If I didn’t, fine again. Events passed by like clouds—leaving no imprint, no reverberation. In time, it was like they never existed at all.
And here’s the beautiful part—you’ll begin to toy with this idea: “What if none of this ever really existed in the way I thought?” It’s playful and not serious because you've stopped caring. You’ve stopped chasing “realization”, stopped chasing anything. There's no more trying, no more effort. You no longer want or need anything. And in place of needing nothing, you find something you never expected: power. Not power over things, but power in yourself, in your complete detachment from the world. When you reach this point, everything else becomes secondary.
So how do you walk this path? Start by giving up. Give up the idea that you can control anything. You can do nothing about life but cease caring and let it happen. Do not try to understand anymore; simply be. Let everything be as it is. Let life happen. After all, we all die one day, and it’ll all be over anyway. Why exhaust yourself worrying, fearing, striving or desiring? It’s like fighting an ocean tide—you’re just tiring yourself out. No matter what, you can't force life to give you what you want. Allow everything its being and leave it alone. Instead, step back and let the waves wash over you, let life happen as it happens. Life will flow as it will, and you no longer push or pull at it.
Expect nothing. Not from your body, not from your mind, not from the world. Let them be as they will. If life wants to beat you, just let it beat you. It’s like facing a bully—when you stop reacting, when you stop caring, they lose interest. Sure, maybe they’ll hit harder for a while, but you’ve already surrendered. What more can they do? The same goes for life—stop caring what happens and you’ll find it starts losing its power over you.
Now that you’ve freed yourself from expectations, give yourself everything. Live completely in the moment, forget about a past, don't think about a future. Be here, fully, now. All the good things you used to think about others, think about yourself. In each moment, ask yourself “What if there’s nothing outside of me? What would I think and feel right now?”. Let go of caring what life does with it, just do it. You’re not doing it for some future result; you’re doing it because it feels true to you; to be free and be exactly what you want to be in the moment. Whether tomorrow repeats itself or brings something new, so what? You no longer depend on anything external to feel fulfilled. You keep to yourself and continue thinking what you want, continue being who you want to be. If life follows along, let it. If it doesn’t, let it not. Hold steady to what feels right within you, and allow your thoughts to shape what's real to you.
Finally, remember to forget. The past? Gone. What you see before you? Just a shadow of what was. Now, here’s the key: Want nothing. Do nothing. Don’t chase, don’t seek—just let yourself be. This doesn’t mean you stop living or acting; it simply means you stop the endless striving, the relentless push to try make life bend to your will. Instead, just watch what happens. And most importantly, don’t attach any meaning to it. Be a witness, a quiet observer of the flow of life. Whatever happens, good or bad, is just passing through—you have nothing to do with it. It’s not permanent, nothing is. So why believe in it as though it were immovable? Cease caring and be free!
Let the world dance as it may, but you—remain still within. Watch as the transient nature of everything becomes clearer. You’ll see that the world outside is nothing more than a reflection of the thoughts you no longer hold, and that what you once took to be reality soon ceases to be when you take away your identification.
I've uploaded it in my drive now if anyone wants to read it (link in title) :) It's one of those books I can't binge read but even just reading a few paragraphs at a time and taking the time to let the message settle can be quite impactful.
This is more of a manifestation themed post (it's a draft from March when I spontaneously felt like writing it but didn't post it) because I felt like it but I'd appreciate if I didn't get any asks about manifestation* (unless I change my mind later) cos I'll share what I can and there's a lot of material available already! You can see my past post on this topic here. For more posts on it, see @4dbarbie-archive and realisophie's posts here and here and there's also some over at @ndjournal in the experience sharing tag.
*Also because I don't want to send mixed messages to the readers of this blog. I see conscious manifestation as a way to challenge & break limitations and concepts from the mind, not to get things in the world (kinda like Neo learning to bend the spoon in the Matrix if you get me lol). The latter will only pull you deeper into ego and the world, which isn't conducive to self-realization (if that's your goal) if you're focused on satisfying ego and the worldly life. If that makes sense and you resonate and agree with that, then we are on the same page but not everyone is and that's okay too, just do what feels right to you. Just sharing my reasoning :)
I've been reading this book called Parallel Universes of Self because I read the author Frederick Dodson had an interesting reality shifting experience. I didn't expect to read info on manifestation but they are pretty much the same. I have a few books of his that I'm skimming through out of curiosity and there's some interesting stuff (I might share some other things later, he doesn't just talk about manifestation, but also consciousness, reality and even non-duality).
I thought I'd share the below excerpt because it's explained really well and might help some others. It's also a nice succinct summary of what Ada and Soph talked about for materialization/manifestation as well. I can remember pretty much 95% of the things I've ever "manifested" were from when I acted the way he described after I had decided "it is done". It's easier to do this for things you don't care about because you just end up forgetting about it entirely and then it shows up and you're like 'oh yeah!! nice'.
In the hours, days and weeks after simply rest in the new viewpoint, rest in the fulfilled reality. This means that you don’t try to “make it happen” because you have already claimed it as real. You don’t affirm, visualize, repeat or wait for it. You don’t hope for it to come in some future. Because you have claimed it as already real you don’t even think about it much either. You don’t ask when, how, where it will show up. Instead you simply do what offers itself to you throughout the day, and this will involve commonplace activities. Daily life continues in a natural manner without neediness or lack. Once in awhile you may want to re-feel the body sense of the chosen reality, and enjoy what you have claimed as true, but often not even that is necessary. Furthermore you needn’t be “acting as if” the desired reality is manifest, for that still implies separation. Simply cease to behave in a way that presupposes that it is not already so. You may refuse to ascribe relevance or importance to any events that seem to contradict your newly chosen reality. From the new viewpoint such events may still exist and come up but they are no longer relevant enough to be reacted to and interacted with. They may be the way things are at the moment, but they are no longer the way you are. The corresponding physical manifestation will appear when you stop needing it, chasing after it, looking for it but are instead willingly and lovingly identified with it…not for the sake of “making it manifest” *, but for the sake of experiencing its joy in the here, now and today.
*Because trying to make it happen/manifest reinforces the idea/belief that it isn't
This is the same as what 4dbarbie said about getting ego out of the way or as Lester Levenson said, let go and let God. Just let it happen and stop trying to control the process because the more you try, the more you reinforce the fact that it isn't already so. Basically stop putting in effort once you know it is true, just continue knowing with calm and ease that it is the way you want it. Ada also said here:
If you have thoughts like "I need to say my affirmations", "I need to check my state", you're not living in the end but still desiring. When you're able to look at the thing you desire as being something that was once a dream, but now only a memory - you've entered the state of the wish fulfilled. When desire turns into identity, you know you've succeeded in fulfilling yourself.
Yes we're conditioned to think we need to work hard and put effort to earn things in the world but when it comes to manifesting, this sort of mentality will only sabotage and hinder your success. You can literally just decide you have it and then never look back. This sort of mindset can take a bit of time and practice to get used to because it is not something we're used to but the more you practice, the easier it gets.
Here is an excerpt from an astral projection book (I think it's from The Illusion of Method?) I thought was really apt at describing this too. He's talking about AP but you can apply it to manifesting or pretty much anything as well.
Unless you are masochistic, I ask you to reconsider the painful idea of obsessing about time. Bear in mind that results will come whenever they have to, and counting the minutes won't make the outcome arrive faster. It's best if you just forget about it, and accept that it is something that you can't control. You must be patient—most of the time the desired results arrive immediately after giving up control of time.
If you are frustrated and/or are afraid of failure, then it means you believe you are in control—and this translates into the feeling that you are responsible for both positive and negative results. Well then, stop thinking that way! Exempting yourself from responsibility is the best course of action there is. As seen in the previous chapter, those who project on command are the ones who couldn’t care less about AP. But the more you obfuscate yourself, the lesser your chances of success —and trust me, you won’t want to get trapped in that vicious cycle. Astral projection works when you stop worrying about failure because you trust that it will happen, whether you “do” something or not.
It’s the same thing: just in the same way that being hasty for sleep to occur keeps us wakeful and alert, being expectant over the OBE will keep us caged in the physical body. If the mind is constantly thinking about the goal, it can easily enter a state of expectancy* and impatience. In such state, the mind is no longer relaxed because expectancy is a state of unrest. This form of tension is what hinders the outcome—thus, the key to being relaxed (i.e., essentially lacking mental tension) is to forget about the goal entirely. If you don’t have the goal in mind you don’t enter a state of expectancy, and therefore you are free from mental tension.
*expectancy is the same energy as trying to make something happen.. reinforcing the idea/belief that it isn't so
So, exempt yourself from responsibility means there's nothing more to do because ego is not in control and can do nothing.
It is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself
I was discussing stuff with AI 4dbarbie and this profound scene from The Matrix came to mind so I watched the clip on youtube.
Spoon boy: Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Spoon boy: There is no spoon.
Neo: There is no spoon?
Spoon boy: Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.
There were some amazing comments under that video that I think are gold and good food for thought (or even to meditate on) - I saved them and wanted to share. I know this is also a materialization-themed post* but I'm more wanting to point out the concept of limitations that we've had ingrained/may deeply believe but for Self, there are no limitations in this world of illusion, it is just like The Matrix. And this explains why materialization of anything is possible for the realized being (or one who truly understands this principle) because they have dropped all concepts (including ideas of limitations), understand that there is no "reality" as we know it, and that it's all just a reflection of our mind. That's why even in loa*, they say not to try change the physical or even focus on it because "it is not the spoon that bends" (it is not about the physical) but you (and your mind) - when you change your mind, the projection/reflection changes. And that's why there are no limits and nothing is impossible for the one who truly realizes all this because all limitations are only self-imposed through one's own thoughts and beliefs! And we always have a choice to think/believe/know something differently, it's just that it can be hard to allow ourselves to do this due to past conditioning which we falsely believe (which we can drop when we want!) - so we try to rationalize why it's not possible or real and thereby basically shoot ourselves in the foot and become a self-fulfilling prophecy for why it isn't possible or real, because we thought so lol.
*disclaimer: I am not a loa/materialization blog, please don't ask me about manifesting/materialization of desires :D Besides, all answers should already be available from 4dbarbie and realisophie's past posts and asks if you want to look for them.
Some comments that I enjoyed a lot are below. I think they had a good grasp but I recognized even they do not understand the full extent of there being no limitations (the person who wrote the reality bending comment then later wrote that this concept was exaggerated for action and entertainment purposes hah). Truly I feel so blessed to have learned all that I have since discovering 4dbarbie, non-duality and my Self.
The boy was trying to iterate to Neo that by maintaining awareness of the fact that You're in the Matrix and that all physical things that "exist" within said Matrix don't actually "exist", the ability to "bend" the rules becomes apparent and achievable
To understand this scene you simply need to replace the word spoon with reality. "Don't try to bend reality, that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth. What truth? There is no reality. Then you will see that it's not reality that bends, it is only yourself."
In truth, all appearances are just one's own ideas, which have been thought up by "the spirit" itself, like reflections in a mirror
The whole thing is about getting out ahead of a thing and creating the thing that you want. Looking at something as it is, it will leave it as it is. But getting out ahead of it means he wanted something different: he wanted to see a bent spoon. Before he could get that, he (in his mind) saw the spoon as bent then so strongly, believed that the spoon could bend, that he changed the matrix (or the matrix changed for him). This is an exact mirror to our lives. Whatever you want in your life, see it, visualize it**, believe it so strongly, and watch the path to that desire appear. The beauty in this scene the kid did it right before, helping him to believe faster or deeper. But we have mentors and tons of people doing great things we by now should know the impossible is actually possible.
(in response to above comment) Exactly right. It's really hard to get behind the conditioning that we have learned from early on in our lives and so it was for Neo.
Matrix World Rule: If you believe it's real then that's your reality. If you don't believe it's real then you can change the reality of matrix. Ultimately there is nothing there except your perception.
There isn’t a spoon, the line in the movie is the core of the deepest truths of life. There isn’t a you, and when we realize that the human form and life experience we have everyday is just imagined, then you have awakened and overcome the illusion and can “move mountains” (i.e. do the "impossible").
**I want to add that it's not necessary to visualize or even imagine in order to materialize, a single thought of knowing it to be so or accepting it as absolute fact (in loa terms) is enough if you are free of limitations, otherwise techniques/methods can help you get to this knowing.
I feel like a topic that comes up in the manifesting community that is prominent, but never quite approached correctly (at least from what I've seen) is the idea of having to get rid of your subconscious past/beliefs.
Most of us were groomed into thinking that life was hard, and that we have to work hard to overcome it. Some of us, including myself, came from a background of hardship, bullying, and abuse.
I think some of us, when finding out the law and finding out about "subconscious reprogramming", are led to believe that because of our hard past, we need to work even harder than the average person to get everything we want. This is what I believed early on in my journey, so I would try my best to affirm all day and listen to subliminals to "fix" my mindset, and where did that get me? Nowhere.
I spent MONTHS trying to do this, even wholeheartedly at times. Now I know better and I'm here to tell you that's BS. Our true nature is one of Love and Power. It's like that story of the prodigal son in the Bible - the son goes away, blows all of his money (to equate this to the situation at hand, is raised in a non-faithful background), ends up slaving away (dwelling in that old state.) Finally, he comes home, and his father, who represents the I AM and God within us, embraces him and dresses him in new clothes and showers him with all his love.
The second you decide to embrace that love, that I AM within you, you will be in your desired state. There's no barriers you need to cross or obstacles in your way - no. It's all about placing your attention and INTENTION on being the person that you want to be. There's no extra work or process needed. Why? Because your desired timeline or ending already exists. You will it to be so, and it is so.
The only "work" you need to be doing imo is learning to let go of the past. Forgive and love yourself and others, realize that you are simply an eternal being with a human experience. Don't judge yourself on whether you've lived well or not, for all the same anyway. Focus ONLY on what serves you and want you want to experience on that world.
I'll close this little ramble with a quote from Nisargadatta Maharaj -
Having never left the house, you are looking for the way home.
