‘Super Junior’ Sungmin Enlists in the Army Accompanied With His Family and Fans

‘Super Junior’ Sungmin is leaving shortly to fulfill his military duty.

Sungmin enlisted in a recruit training battalion troop no.17 located in Incheon on March 31. Although it rained much in the morning, the entrance of the troop was crowded with fans and media press who came to say farewell.

He arrived at the battalion around 12:50 pm in a black sedan and greeted his fans. His wife Kim Sa-eun and family stayed in the car, but did not show up.

Fans held up placards written ‘Here comes the scary Chinese sisters’, ‘We will wait until your discharge’, ‘Family does not leave you, and we are family’ and shouted his name “Lee Sungmin”.

After short farewells with fans, Lee Sungmin hurriedly entered the army. He read the written oath aloud and promised to become a model soldier.

Sung-min will receive the basic military training for five weeks and serve the army for a year and nine months.
