I actually got some new followers, does this mean the Homestuck fandom is still active here? Maybe it’s time to dust off this account and start posting again! :)

Who would have thought that I would be drawing a Naruto/Homestuck crossover in 2020 :o
This was a piece for the Fandom Trumps Hate auction, which is doing amazing work and you should totally check it out!
Let’s be honest, sometimes you just have to draw Homestuck again.
This is the second piece I have drawn for Fandom Trumps Hate! @primtheamazing, I hope this turned out the way you wanted :)

General Hux in hogwarts !
Recently, I looked through some old drawings that I did for inktober in 2016. For some reason, I really liked this one and decided to colour it, even if I am not really into Star Wars anymore. Back then, being in the kylux fandom was a lot of fun - mostly, because I didn’t like their characters too much, and I think that in general the start of kylux as a crack ship lead to most of the fandom not taking itself too seriously. Looking back, that freedom to play around with a character like Hux, who has like two minutes of appearance throughout the whole of The Force Awakens is great and ecompasses all that I like about transformative fandom.
My piece for the @fashionstuckzine! Go to the blog to find the download link and all the other amazing artists :)
For the dress, I was inspired by Iris van Herpen’s work which you should totally check out! And since one part of the epilogues that truly captivated me was the exloration of Roxy’s gender, I decided to draw nb!Roxy. Working on this was really fun and I hope yall like the zine!
is it ok to use your art (specifically the jon one) as an icon? with proper credit of course
Hi! Sure, as long as you credit me :)
thank you so much for even asking and also for thinking of my art as icon worthy 💛 have a good day, anon!
The Magnus Archives is a great podcast that everyone should listen to!
Also I love Jon with all my heart. I really tried to give him the newly acquired “grubby jesus” aesthetic and I think - considering the circumstance - he totally rocks it! Go, my little monster archivist!
Who has control over a story? Or: presidency as a metaphor for authorship
So… I have read the meat part of the Homestuck epilogues and I have to say, I am impressed. I have to admit that I was initially wary of the experience because the first opinions I’ve read on tumblr have been controversial, to say the least. But before I talk about the epilogue itself, I have to make some things clear. I haven’t read Homestuck in my formative teenage years. I started reading it when I was 18, so I had a lot more distance to the main characters and their experiences than I would have had if I was younger. This was also an age when my English could have been considered „good“ enough to even understand what was going on since it’s not my mother tongue. Additionally, I was just starting my degree in literary studies, so the interest in narrative structure has always been on the forefront of my reading experience, so that’s what I’ll focus on in my analysis. And hoo boy does Homestuck deliver in that regard.
First of all we have to ask: in what situation are the epilogues written? Homestuck is „officially over“, the fans are more or less satisfied, the „canon“ is supposed to be finished and can now be looked at in its entirety. This is not only important for the creators of fanworks, but also for Hussie himself. In a lot of ways, when a work is canonically finished, the author has distanced themselves from the story and the writing process. So how to write epilogues, when you have given up control over the narrative? It’s at this point that Hussie decides to make the problem explicit in the work itself: he changes the medium. What has been a narrative element in Homestuck before now becomes once again necessary for understanding the story. By changing the webcomic format to an Ao3 fanfiction format he shows the reader that these are indeed „tales of dubious authenticity“.
Still not caught up to the latest episodes, but I definitely hope Fjord is still alive!
@canaa @attractiefling @victorian-hoecake @nameslovegoodyeslovegood @lord-dio-official Thank you all so much! I had a lot of fun playing DnD and I already love my character (which is probably a little bit unwise ... my DM seems to have something bad planned for him). So thanks again for encouraging me :)
I really don’t know why I decided to draw a comic about the new hiveswap trolls that will most possibly find a qiuck and horrible death. Then again, it wouldn’t be an authentic Homestuck experience without witnessing the terrible fate of beloved characters.
Anyway, it has been some time since I drew anything Homestuck related, but it still means a lot to me :)
Story time! So recently I started watching Critical Role (the new campaign) which inspired me to draw this little Mollymauk. I then decided to post it on Jodel, which is kind of the german version of yik yak. It got a lot of upvotes and some Critters commented on it! Which I would have never expected! What are the odds! So long story short, this sunday we‘ll meet up and I will play DnD for the first time in my life so I am kind of nervous? Anyway, I just wanted to share this :)
So I saw The Last Jedi
This year I decided to carve a Homestuck themed pumpkin! It was my first time carving something „complex“ and it was a lot of fun, even if it isn‘t perfect :)
And the battle is still for a moment, as the shadows turn to face this strange and demented monster. And suddenly, large menacing arms and legs sprout out from Upsy, who grabs a shadow and just tears it in half directly in front of its elevator doors.
Hands down, that was one of the best and simultaneously most unsettling moments of the finale. God I love this podcast.
and we see you one last time as Magnus rushes in.
Funny story: I finished listening to The Adventure Zone exactly the evening before the finale and started drawing my ideal happy ending for our trés horny boys. The one above I only had to tweak a little after listening to Magnus’ canon ending (I left Junior in because surely planes-trascending organisms can come visit). Needless to say that I basically cried through the last minutes. What a great finale. What a great podcast.
