• Attention to the poc urban roleplay community! My name is Ada, but most people call me A. I’m an advanced literate roleplayer who has been around in the community for years. Similarly, I’ve been writing for almost a decade now. Genre wise, I specialize in romance but I can do others (fantasy, slice of life, dark romance, etc.) Specifically though, I’m looking for roleplay partners that are people of color and enjoy writing them. I want to see southern culture/settings, hood life, and things of that nature. We can explore the reality of drug life, mental health struggles in the black community, toxic relationships, life in the music industry, fame, and more (strippers, killers, etc). I’m very much open to plotting and creating layered stories. [Read below the cut if you’re interested so far.]

• Obviously, my muses will feature people of color 99.9% of the time and most of that time, it’ll be black women and men. I mostly lean towards playing women in MxF pairings but I can be convinced to play a male character with the right partner. I’m open to plotting MxM, MxW, WxW or whatever your heart desires!

• Anyone that reaches out must be 21+ because mature themes/content will be included. Of course, limits are boundaries will be discussed beforehand. I’m pretty much always available so make sure to hit me up if you’re interested. Discord information will be exchanged there.

• NO group roleplays and NO doubling.

• I enjoy sending gifs and visual representation of things so do keep that in mind. OOC chatter is also something I engage in.

• Please be equally engaged in the process as I am and please come with something when you’re messaging me. I don’t want to be the only one carrying the conversation and decision making.

Andrew knows love doesn’t exist because he’s never felt it. He grew up in the system watching old movies about characters who fell in love with their friends, who had normal childhoods and parents that loved them. But that couldn’t exist for him because he was shivering under the thin bedsheets of a care home with dozens of other children, just hoping, waiting for someone to see him and love him like they did in the movies.

But love didn’t exist for him when he was repeatedly hurt in different homes by different people and in different ways. It didn’t exist for him when he discovered that he had a twin and he was the one given up while his brother was kept. It didn’t exist for him when his brother pushed him aside for taking a life just to protect him.

Yet as Andrew grew and met a certain red head, he saw glimpses of love everywhere. He saw it in the air as Neil repeatedly put himself in harms way to protect him. He tasted it in the ice cream Neil ran to the store to buy for him when he wasn’t feeling his best. And he felt it when Neil rested his head on his shoulder and whispered:

“It’s always yes with you. I’m not a hallucination.”

— I don’t know if anyone’s seen the movie ‘ATL’ with T.I and Lauren London but I neeed a rp like that. Give me characters struggling with their identity amidst the struggles of their environment, give me skate scenes at cascade, give me high tensions and secrets. Any gender pairings welcome.
