"You KNOW why you're in a cave!"

"Why am I in a cave?" Sam shouted up at Janet from 20 feet down.

"You know why you're in a cave!"

Silence. "I really don't."

"You pressed a button. It opened a trap door. So now..."

"I'm in a cave."

"And you knocked yourself out when you fell. That's probably why you don't remember anything." Janet sighed. "Luckily I know who I've married and brought along some tactical gear." She began lowering a rope down.

"We're on vacation, Janet."

"Do you want to complain or do you want to be rescued?"

Sam sighed and swallowed her pride.

"Rescue me..."

generic grief

I saw some generic headstones today: Mother, Father, Daughter, Son, Wife and Husband. At first I found it shallow and disrespectful. On second thought though it is actually not a bad idea for people like me whose loved one(s) aren't buried in this country or didn't get a proper burial at all. This way you have some place to go to. On a different note: I didn't think I'd see a snowman on a cemetery.
