"Why am I in a cave?"
"You KNOW why you're in a cave!"

"Why am I in a cave?" Sam shouted up at Janet from 20 feet down.
"You know why you're in a cave!"
Silence. "I really don't."
"You pressed a button. It opened a trap door. So now..."
"I'm in a cave."
"And you knocked yourself out when you fell. That's probably why you don't remember anything." Janet sighed. "Luckily I know who I've married and brought along some tactical gear." She began lowering a rope down.
"We're on vacation, Janet."
"Do you want to complain or do you want to be rescued?"
Sam sighed and swallowed her pride.
"Rescue me..."

It’s such a shame Stargate has kind of fallen from fandom prominence, because it has so much fandom potential. (I know there’s still a fairly active tumblr fandom, and elsewhere, but it’s tiny compared to what it used to be.)
Especially now that people are looking more for specific type of ships, Sam/Janet has such good femslash shipping potential. It was definitely the big Stargate femslash ship back in the day (not that there was much else to offer in that department) but I just kind of wished it had stayed around more because I know so many people who want more femslash and who’d love those two.
