This project is a 5 + 1 original project to realize "small restaurant" by doing everything from planning to operation and design. So that, it is a project without client who works together while thinking about the program, direction, or needs together usually. From a designer's point of view, we can imagine easily that a project without a client is a self-satisfying project, but above all, the ultimate purpose of this project is for customers to come to the store and like the place. It means that they will become repeaters, etc., and that we will operate as a business there. In other words, there are no clients to fund the project, but the final clients are those who come to the store and their evaluation. it seems like self-satisfaction however it’s not self-satisfaction that determines the value of this project. It is also, by showing the back side of such a project, we will share the problems, successful experiences, methods, etc. that can help for people who want to try to open restaurants overseas. we hope it will be helpful example for that kind of people.
This project will upload the progress status from time to time on each social media (youtube, instagrum, facebook, Tumblr). We will record as much detail as possible about the meetings held in order to proceed with this project, the negotiations with the vendors, the negotiations, and the design work.
It's a groping project that I don't know the future, but I would like to share that kind of groping feeling

このプロジェクトは企画から運営、そしてデザインまで全て独自で行い『小さな飲食店』を完成させてみようという5+1の独自のプロジェクトである。つまり、普段はプログラムや方向性或いはニーズを一緒に考えながら共に進めるクライアントが居ないプロジェクトである。デザイナー的視点に立った場合クライアントが居ないプロジェクトなんて独り善がりの自己満足プロジェクトなのではという指摘も想像しうるが、何よりこのプロジェクトの最終目的はお店にお客さんが来てくれてその場を気に入ってくれて、リピーターなどになってくれる事であり、そこでビジネスとして動かしていくとである。言いかえればプロジェクトに資金を出すクライアントはいないが、最終的なクライアントはお店に来てくれる方達であり、その方達の評価がこのプロジェクトの価値を決める自己満足のようで自己満足ではないプロジェクトなのだ。また、このような企画の裏側を見せることによって同じように海外で飲食店をやってみたい人などに実現する上で起こりうる問題、成功体験、やり方などのをシェアし、より多くの方が各自でチャンレジできる参考になればと考える。
このプロジェクトは各ショーシャルメディア(youtube, instagrum, facebook, Tumblr)にて随時進捗状況をアップロードする。このプロジェエクトを進める上で行われる会議や、業者とのやりと、交渉、デザインの仕事など、出来るだけ細かく記録していく。
先が分からない手探りのプロジェクトであるが、そのような手探り感もシェアしてみたいと考えている。
